Charming loft cabin just 7 minutes from downtown

Make yourself at home in this charming, quintessential cabin nestled in the woods just 4 miles from historic Talkeetna. If you’re looking for solitude or inspiration, you’ll find it in the 5-acre parcel worthy of exploring. If you’re looking for entertainment, dining, and an artist mecca, head into town. The kitchen is well-equipped, the water is hot, and there's wood for indoor or outdoor fires. No matter the time of year, this cabin will feel like home.

This spacious loft-style cabin includes a king-size bed upstairs, a comfy couch on the main floor, and a queen-size air mattress that sits off the ground. You’ll find a work area upstairs and a door that opens up to the large, sun-drenched balcony. The hosts’ foodie passions are evident in the available array of coffee, teas, spices, kitchen essentials, and the gas grill.

You will have access to the entire cabin except for some locked cabinets & drawers, a gas grill, two-bikes and a hammock. It was important to us to provide the quality and various amenities that we would like in a vacation home and hope you appreciate the unique touches we've come to love and expect.

We may be open to pets and long-term accommodations, so don’t hesitate to ask. Camping may be permitted with advanced notice. Use of the wood-burning stove is limited to people familiar with using one. Local fire ban levels must be checked before lighting a fire in the outdoor pit.
