Maui Kamaole #J-204 is an upstairs 2 Bedroom 2 Bath ocean view condo. Equipped with a full kitchen, Cable TV/DVD, complimentary high speed Wi-Fi, a washer/dryer, and lovely partial ocean view and views of Haleakala. Maui Kamaole #J-204 is air-conditioned (wall units) and can sleep up to four guests. For those who need to stay in touch, there is free long distance to Canada and the US Mainland. There is a Cal King bed in the master bedroom, a queen bed in the guest room and sofa bed in the living room. Please note: This unit is on the second floor, with no elevator available.
Same day bookings and those arriving within 48 hours of making the reservation require a phone call to Rentals Maui for confirmation.
Bookings made within 7 days of arrival will require an ID check and screening prior to confirmation.
Longer stays require additional terms and conditions. Please contact Rentals Maui for inquiries longer than 60 nights.

Kamaole Beach III is just across the street from the upscale Maui Kamaole. This property features lush tropical landscaping, two gorgeous pool areas with hot tubs and water features. There are gas grills peppered throughout the property and tennis courts available for your use. The Kamaole Beaches are world famous for their pristine water, long sandy shoreline, great snorkeling and boogey boarding. In addition during the winter, the humpback whales are just off shore and put on a great show. You will also enjoy the most magnificent sunsets imaginable. You also are within walking distance to activities, shops, and restaurants, and a short drive to the championship golf courses of Wailea and Makena.

Host was quick to respond, however amenities not the greatest. First we booked this unit as it was closer to upper pool and was a nice looking 2 bedroom condo . The day we checked in we found out the upper pool would be closed November 11-21 which of we had known we would of booked near lower pool and likely bit lower rate . So we said oh well and started to enjoy lower pool . About 9 days into our 17 day rental which there was 4 adults and 1 child , The AC unit in the main living room stopped working it very muggy and hot , host started to work on getting a new unit and it s took 7 days on top of this our bedroom AC unit could only work long enough to put on when we went to bed as it was so old it couldn’t keep ip with the heat . The living room unit was extremely old nd in worst shape , the unit was also only for a 300 SQ foot space . The host suggested to just sleep with the windows open and she never used the AC and its not that hot , it was over 25-30 degrees in the condo and if maintenance and repairs were stayed on too of people would not have these issues , so hot we had to have our son sleep on our bedroom floor .

A great place to stay in Kihei

This may have been the cleanest, most well appointed vacation rental we have ever had. Everything was comfortable, worked well, and was well coordinated. The air conditioning worked very well, which was a huge plus for us. We enjoyed eating on the lanai several times, and we used the gas grill in the common area to cook one night. The pool and hot tub across the parking lot were amazing when we didn’t feel like dealing with the sand at the beach. Our unit was very quiet at night. We never heard any of our neighbors. A couple of things to be aware of
 1) We kept the sliding doors overlooking the living room closed the entire time for privacy. However, there is no actual door to that bedroom, and any sounds in the kitchen or living room sound as if they are coming from your room. It was not as private as we would have liked with our kids staying downstairs. 2) This is not anything within the power of the owner to remedy, but the designated parking space is right under a pink shower tree. The blooms fall all over the place and leave a sticky sap all over the windows and body of your rental car. They also were constantly caked on the bottom of our shoes and were a nuisance to keep off the carpet in the unit. We had to make several stops at the gas station to clean the windows and the rest of the car looked like a mess the entire time. We had to pay for a car wash the day before we came home and then parked in a visitor spot that night.

Overall great experience. Unit was nice, clean, quiet and mostly as represented. Pools and hot tub were very nice. Having a door code instead of a key was easy. The chairs, umbrellas and cooler were handy. The beds were not what i would call hotel quality and could use new mattresses but better than a sleeper sofa. Bathrooms were fine; both with good showers, no tub. We never figured out how to use the TV. Lanai was nice.

Great Family Vacation Rental!

This condo was clean, quiet, and easy to access/use. The grounds were beautiful and well kept, and the pools were nice to have in the evenings. The beach supplies in the condo (especially the chairs, umbrella, and boogie boards) were quite convenient. The beds were comfortable. It was a great place to retreat to after very active days on vacation. Lastly, communicating with the owner was easy and they were very friendly. Would rent again if I find my way back to Maui.

This condo was very nice and appropriate for myself, my husband and my mom. It was wonderful to have a kitchen to cook in, a washer and dryer and other amenities. The location was perfect, very quiet at night and close to the beach. We were located in a nice local place where we went many different directions on the island to tour and see. Loved the whole vacation time!

Great Stay!

We had a fantastic time at this property in Kihei. The communication with Michelle, before during, and after our stay made everything so easy. Having access to 4 beach chairs, umbrellas, a cooler, and more made going to the beach easy. Comfortable beds, and private enough for 2 couples to stay, have their own space, plus common areas together!

Great place, wonderful host

Very cozy, comfortable place in great location, across the street from the excellent Kam 3 beach. The apartment has everything that one expects, plus many extras, like comfortable beach chairs and umbrellas, snorkeling equipment, beach toys for children, etc. Everything worked perfectly and Michele (the host) was very accommodating and would promply reply to our emails.

We had a great time

We really enjoyed our home base in Kihei. We used the pool and spa daily after exploring Lahaina, snorkeling and local restaurants. We didnt have a car the first couple of days, so got grocery delivery and used buses. Strongly recomnend having a car for more freedom of movement. Owners suoer kind and responsive. Rules are many but easy to follow.

Condo is nicely furnished, beds are comfortable, kitchen is well stocked, and the washer and dryer were awesome to have access to. The property pools and bbq’s were very nice and easy to access. The owner is very responsive to questions and helpful. Only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars for check in was we had to email Covid tests to property management, not a huge thing but one more step when your ready to being vacation! Would stay here again due to location, owner availability, and condo amnimities.

Love this property!

Maui Kamoale has beautiful tropical grounds kept immaculately clean! The condo was beautifully decorated to enhance our tropical vacation. The owner was very responsive, we had an issue with the a/c in one of the rooms and she had someone out immediately to check on it. The condo had everything we needed for a fabulous family vacation. The beach chairs and coolers were a must have to spend the day enjoying the ocean. Swimming with sea turtles was the highlight of our grandsons trip! Definitely will be back again, looking forward to staying at this condo with an ocean view from the patio.

Great family vacation!

We stayed for ten days at Maui Kamaole in this unit. It was perfect for our family of four (2 kids, 10 and 12)! Lots of space, pool/hot tub was great, beach supplies were fun and kitchen had most everything we needed. Walking distance to many beaches, shops, restaurants. Michele was very accommodating and attentive during our stay. We would definitely book again! Thanks Michele!!

ROACHES AND PAINTERS SHOWING UP, unannounced

Here one day (8/14/19) and started finding roaches in the kitchen. Managing office sprayed and the problem got worse and worse with very large roaches appearing. After the 3rd day we wanted to leave, we could not relax at all. Due to VRBO not being able to find us something right away and charging us the cleaning fee and other fees again...we had to stay and hope the roaches would be gone. The roaches were never gone, they kept dying and were in the kitchen floor throughout our visit. We also were unable to cook in the kitchen due to this. There was painting being done on the outside of the units next to ours. This was not disclosed to us beforehand. On our 3rd day in the unit, we woke up to the painters outside our door and in the stairwell with their ladders. By the 5th day, they were being escorted into our unit by the condo management 4 times per day to work on the outside balcony areas. This was never disclosed to us by the owner, that this would be happening. The owners knew there would be painting being done while we were there, yet they let us rent the unit without disclosing this information to us. We had roaches all week and painters in the unit half of our stay and the owner will not give us back any of the rental amount that we paid. Beware of renting from this owner.

Great Maui getaway

The location is fabulous with easy access to the beach and town. We stayed here because it is quiet, peaceful and a short walk to the beach. The condo has everything you need and is very comfortable. The grounds are well maintained. We would stay here again.
