Tucked into the peaceful Blue Ridge foothills, our cozy 2-bedroom, 1.5-bath cabin is the perfect basecamp for hikers, nature lovers, and families looking to unplug and recharge. Whether youâre here to explore mountain trails, watch wildlife, or simply relax on the porch with coffee and mountain air, this is your place. Our home is well-equipped for your stay. We have some indoor and outdoor games available on-site for guests, who can also enjoy the sound of the peaceful stream off the back porch.

Vehicle Access:
The road to the cabin changes from pavement to a well-maintained gravel road. The gravel road to the cabin is less than 1/4 mile and is easily accessed by all normal vehicles. During winter months, AWD or 4WD vehicles are recommended as the gravel driveway can be covered in snow.

To ensure an enjoyable stay for you and our neighbors
-No parties or events.
-Outdoor quiet hours: 10:00 PM â 7:00 AM.
-Check-in: 4:00 PM / Check-out: 10:00 AM.
-Maximum occupancy: 4.
-No smoking inside the cabin.
-Respect the property and surrounding nature.
-Follow all county and state fire safety guidelines (no outdoor fires unless permitted).
-Wash dishes and take trash to designated bins before checkout.
-Report any damage immediately.
-Pets must be approved prior to arrival and the pet fee paid.
-Do not burn anything in the wood stove other than dry, seasoned firewood.
-Indoor wood-burning stove is only for use in the winter.
-We have a septic system; only the provided toilet paper can be flushed.âš
Things to Know:
-Cell service is very poor (please download instructions before arriving)âenjoy your boss not being able to reach you!
-Most guests are able to utilize the internet for calls, but during a short power outage, the WiFi also goes out. Sorry, but not sorry, blame Mother Nature.
-During extremely windy weather, power outages are not uncommon in the area.
-The cabin is on well water (please be responsible with water usage).
-Firewood is not generally provided. Please let me know if youâd like some provided (I will try my best, but there is no guarantee).
-The well water is equipped with a whole-home water filtration system that conducts a cleaning cycle at night. We have never had a guest complain, but you may hear the sound of water running for a short time while it cleans the filters.
-There is a gate at the entrance of the property. It is usually already open for guests, but if not, a code is provided. You are welcome to leave the gate open or lock it behind you if it makes you feel more comfortable.
-Laundry detergent, dryer sheets, etc. are not provided. If you are with us for an extended stay, let us know and I will try my best to accommodate.
-This cabin is in the mountains and in the woods. Occasionally, ants, ladybugs, beetles, etc. can find a way into the house. This isnât the city; if youâre afraid of seeing one of these, please find a hotel in town. We keep our home extremely clean and will quickly address any concern you have about seeing bugs.
