Charming in-town apartment in scenic Blue Hill village near Acadia National Park

Charming attached in-law apartment in scenic Blue Hill, featuring one bedroom, one bath, full kitchen and private entrance. This in-town apartment is walking distance from art galleries, the library, a coffee shop, restaurants, a great book store and other shops, and the town park. It's a short drive to hiking trails and water access, a grocery store and a food co-op, and just 50 minutes to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park.

The apartment is attached to our family home, but is fully self-contained, featuring a private entrance, full kitchen and bathroom, and one bedroom . Towels, linens, and basic kitchen supplies are provided. The kitchen /living room area is spacious and bright, the bathroom includes a roomy shower, and the cozy bedroom includes a queen size bed. There is a heat pump in the living room for heating and cooling.

This is a safe neighborhood with definite in-town vibes. Though you will likely be aware of the comings and goings of our neighbors, the house is surrounded by lovely shade trees and gardens, and you will also hear bird song and crickets. Guests will enjoy the best of both worlds - the peace of the Maine outdoors in summer, and the convenience of an in-town location.

Guests will have full private access to the apartment and are welcome to share our yard, where there is a patio for enjoying morning coffee and a picnic table for meals outdoors. Guests will have access to one parking space.

We are a mellow family of artists and musicians. We will always respect quiet hours and will try our best to limit music to daytime hours and times when our guests are out adventuring.
