Charmant chalet au bord du lac sur le lac Highland

Chalet au bord du lac Highland avec 80 pieds de lac d'entrée graduelle privée de sable, quai privé (en saison) et pelouse herbeuse. Détendez-vous dans le confort du porche fermé au bord du lac ou à l'intérieur des 2 chambres récemment mises à jour (la 1ère chambre a 1 lit queen et la 2ème a 1 lit queen et 2 lits jumeaux) et 1 chalet de bain. 6 couchages dans des lits, 6 personnes maximum. AC / chauffage à l'étage et en bas. Profitez de l'eau cristalline, d'un quai avec des taquets pour amarrer le bateau, du gril, des huards, des couchers de soleil à couper le souffle, des aventures sur l'île aux bleuets (oui, il y a des bleuets sauvages frais en saison), de la pelouse, de la plage publique de l'autre côté de la route, du foyer, à proximité de Proctor Academy, à un pâté de maisons du Northern Rail Trail (58 miles de vélo et de marche dédié), à 800 mètres de Highland Lake Inn (lieu de mariage local populaire), à proximité de ponts couverts, à proximité de sentiers de randonnée comprenant des cascades, un feuillage d'automne à couper le souffle ( dès le front de lumière) et toute la région des lacs a à offrir.

Le lac Highland est au milieu de la région des lacs située entre le lac Sunapee, le lac Newfound et le lac Winnipesaukee à Andover, NH. 1 heure et 45 minutes au nord de Boston. C'est un lac alimenté par une source d'eau claire, parfait pour la baignade, la pêche, le kayak, le paddle board, le bateau à moteur, les tubes, le ski nautique et toutes les autres activités nautiques. La plage de la ville est de l'autre côté de la rue pour votre usage et il y a une rampe de mise à l'eau publique sur le canal. C'est un lac plus calme, idéal pour se détendre et pour les enfants. Les kayaks disponibles moyennant un supplément, doivent être loués pour toute la durée du séjour.

Allée commune avec la maison derrière avec beaucoup de stationnement, absolument pas de stationnement sur la pelouse. Aucun événement n'est autorisé à la maison ou sur la propriété. Les animaux de compagnie ne sont pas autorises. Interdiction de fumer dans la maison ou sur la propriété. Exiger une pièce d'identité avec photo et un contrat de location signé avant l'enregistrement.

Great Spot- in town for wedding

We had a lovely stay here! We were in town for a wedding at the Highland Lake Inn and this adorable cottage offered the conveniences of a home while being very close to the wedding events! Would stay here again 😊👍

Great stay!

Perfect location and cottage was beautifully decorated! Liz was very responsive to all of my questions. Highly recommend renting kayaks for the lake. My girls age 5 and 7 loved the easy access to the lake and spent most of the time swimming and kayaking. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

peaceful lakeside retreat

Can’t beat the gradual entrance, docks, and pristine water for swimming right in the backyard. Especially perfect for young swimmers. Cottage is well-stocked and decorated, and very cozy. Lots of little and high quality touches that make guests feel very welcome. Will be back!

Nice stay.

Overall, we had a nice stay. The front porch was comfortable and offered nice views of our part of the lake. The air conditioning is comprised of one wall unit on first floor. It wzs effective. Upstairs, one wall unit in one bedroom. Unfortunately, it did nothing for the other bedroom. Other than that, it was nice.

Quaint and peaceful

We had a great stay...Liz was a great host and very responsive. We highly recommend renting the kids kayaks, my 6&8 year old boys were very entertained rowing over to the small island. We brought our bikes and did the Rail Trail which is basically in their backyard. House clean and nicely decorated, can’t ask for a better swimming spot for young kids. We brought our bass fishing boat and had some luck catching small mouth bass and kids caught plenty of sunfish. Firepit right on the lake was nice to have. My husband had to work so having strong WiFi was a must and it worked out well. Thanks to Liz!!!

Lovely relaxing week on Highland Lake

We spent a lovely week on Highland Lake in this charming cabin with our teens. Relaxed and enjoyed the sunshine and good weather. Well appointed and clean. Loved the screened in porch. Kids loved the swimming platform and we loved the walk in accessibility to lake. Thank you!

Quiet getaway

Property is located on a small lake that is very calm and mostly quiet. Great for paddleboarding and kayaking. Kids enjoyed playing in the water and the provided beach toys were a big hit. The cabin is quite roomy in the first floor living space and we were very comfortable throughout our stay.

We had a nice stay at this house! Cozy and just what we needed. Loved that it was right on the lake with its own little beach. My son loved the sandbox of sand toys and the hammock! Nice having the screened in porch as well. :)

Absolutely perfect

What a Lovely Comfortable Tastefully decorated cottage with a beautiful view. The foliage reflecting across the lake was spectacular. The porch Overlooking the Lake was our favorite place to Have coffee in the morning and relax after a day outside. Having the rail trail practically right outside the door was a huge plus for us. Perfect if you are looking for a smaller lake that is picturesque with not a lot of loud boat motors whizzing by constantly. Quiet enough to hear the loons the first night we were there. Liz was very responsive to our questions.

Glorious place in hot weather!

This adorable cottage was a perfect getaway for our family. Three kids (14, 12, 9) were perfectly happy floating and jumping in the lake. Wifi was perfect for phone/iPad downtime (mam & dad too!). Stores/shopping about 20 minutes away, for anything you might've forgotten to pack (you forgot your swim floats & water shoes?!). The weather we had was absolutely beautiful: 90+ degrees, and the lake was perfect to chill all day. We grilled burgers & dogs, and then went for a ride for ice cream. The house is stocked with everything you could need. Thank you for helping us create lasting family memories!

Great get-away!

We had a wonderful time at Moss Landing! Liz was very communicative and the cottage was sparkling clean and wonderfully decorated. The lake is right outside the back porch which provided endless fun for our 2-yo daughter. We also really appreciated Liz's recommendations about local things to do. We also really appreciated the pack and play and booster seat that there there! Can't wait to visit again!

Most relaxing vacation ever. Cottage was great.

The cottage was small but very quaint. The only drawback for me was the distance from the upstairs bedrooms to the downstairs bathroom. But it was as advertised. It was great being right on the water and so very relaxing. My wife fell in love with the place. They also did an excellent job updating the electric and wiring. The boys were happy they had their internet for down times...

Perfect vacation spot!

We loved this little cottage on the lake! We are a family of 4 with 2 boys ages 3 and 4. The beach with shallow water was perfect for us. Everything was exactly as it looked in the photos if not better. The surrounding area is quiet and relaxing. The cottage is clean and cozy. We would definitely like to rent this place again! Liz was helpful and very quick to communicate.

Our family lives just south of Boston. As children, we spent our summers on lakes and exploring nature. We wanted the same for our young children, hence we purchased our beautiful cottage on Highland Lake. It is always hard leaving, but great knowing we will be back again soon. Our kids will always tell you their favorite place is at the lake. We hope you enjoy the lake and surrounds as much as we do!
