Short Walk to Private Beach! Fully-Appointed House w New Screened Porch.


This charming house on Brewster’s Ellis Landing - chock full of books and history. A fantastic choice for guests looking for a cozy retreat in walking distance to the ocean. Three bedrooms sleep 6 (2 full beds and 2 twin beds), two full baths, plus an outdoor shower. Well-resourced kitchen, cable TV, window AC, heat, washer/dryer, and outdoor deck with gas grill. Our new floor-to-ceiling screen porch (with ceiling fan) is a guest favorite - providing hours of breezy, bug-free relaxation!

Just a 5-minute walk down a sandy lane to a private deeded beach with no crowds, great swimming, gentle waves, and tide pools. During low tide, Brewster’s tidal flats stretch to the horizon offering hours of exploration and long walks.

Short walk to Brewster Farms convenience store, Kitchen Cafe, Ocean Edge Resort's restaurants and pub, Brewster Bookstore, JT’s Seafood, Snowy Owl coffee shop, and more.

Sheets and towels, beach chairs, bathroom supplies are provided.

We had a wonderful stay at "Challenge." It is the perfect location for exploring the cape and is a very short work to an amazing bay beach. We loved it at low tide. We absolutely loved the outdoor shower and screened in porch for our meals. It was the perfect beach home to relax, unwind, and make memories with our family. Paul is an amazing host! He communicates really well and made sure we had a great stay. We couldn't ask for more!

If I could give it more stars I would. Owners were helpful and kind. House was immaculate and the location was 10/10. It had AC, an outdoor shower and a brand new screened in porch that we basically lived in. It was perfect. We can’t thank you enough.

Thank you for sharing your family home with us. It is absolutely perfect. Every morning we ate breakfast on the screened in porch. Days were spent at various beaches throughout the Cape as well as exploring Brewster and playing mini golf. The home is so comfortable. Loved the outdoor shower! And it’s such a short quiet walk to the amazing beach with its soft sand. Thank you for sharing this home and this space where, for these four days, the stress disappeared.

Hello Paul: We had a wonderful stay in your home in Brewster. Enjoyed all the attributes that Brewster and the surrounding area have to offer. Thank you for the DOT book and library. Very fun to peruse. Knowing you have just gone through a very impressive renovation, I have a few comments that may help in further improvements which I am sure you are aware. Stepping stones to the outdoor shower, chest of drawers in all the bedrooms. With the great weather we had, an umbrella on the picnic table would make that area more usable. Finally, good to let your occupants know that your fire detection system is very sensitive and without a fan over the stove, I was able to set it off during cooking sessions. We had a chuckle over that occurrence and hoped we did not alert the Brewster fire department. Overall, a great stay in a great house. Look forward to meeting you and Janet at some point. We are absolutely delighted with our stay at challenge. The house was in a very quiet area with easy access to the flats. But we were also a quick walk to some great spots in town. We are a family of four with two early elementary kids and a grandpa tagging along. There was more than enough room for everyone! The house is cozy and comfortable and stocked with supplies so all you really need to bring is your regular travel luggage and any meals you want to cook. But all the staples are provided including house and beach towels, shower supplies, and basics for meal prep like spices and butter etc. it was very buggy at night so the screen porch was a major draw. There are three showers. The tv room couch was comfortable for a 6ft plus adult to sleep! The house is full of history and books! We even put together one of the puzzles which is a beach house must in my book . The owners are so lovely. They kept us in the loop before hand to make sure we arrived without issue. They left a book with detailed information and checkout was a breeze! At one point we managed to lock ourselves out and Paul sent the famous author of "the dot" to let us in. We will definitely be trying to snag another week here next time we come out.
