Getting Around:

Most visitors arrive by car via Route 168, which winds through the Sierra Nevada foothills and passes directly through Shaver Lake . The roads are generally well-maintained, but during winter months, snow and ice can make driving conditions challenging. It's advisable to check weather conditions and carry chains when traveling in snowy conditions.
