The Neighborhood:

North Captiva Island is a private, boat-access island home to just over 350 houses—offering an experience that feels worlds away from the everyday. With miles of unspoiled beaches, world-class shelling, birdwatching, incredible fishing, and a laid-back atmosphere, it’s a place where true relaxation comes naturally.



The island spans only four miles in length and about half a mile at its widest point, yet nearly 50% is protected nature preserve owned by the State of Florida. Guests have access to miles of scenic hiking trails and some of the most secluded, untouched white sand beaches in the state.



Though small, the island offers just the right amount of convenience: three restaurants (two casual, one more upscale), an Island Market for essentials, and an ice cream shop. For a more personalized experience, several excellent private chefs and wonderful boating and fishing charters are available!!
