Discover Restful Remedy, a thoughtfully designed alcove studio at Mount Pilot Hideaways, located in a beautifully restored 1900s building in the heart of downtown Pilot Mountain. This 475 sq ft retreat combines industrial farmhouse style with modern comforts, perfect for a restful escape.

The studio features a king-size bed and a pullout sofa, comfortably sleeping up to 4 guests. Enjoy cooking in the fully stocked kitchen, then gather around the four-person dining table for a meal or a game night.

Rainy day? No problem. Cozy up with a board game, puzzle, or book, or relax on the semi-private deck with seating for two. A washer and dryer are available for added convenience during longer stays.

This was great for our one night stay. The Saturday night band that played next door was loud but they stopped playing at 11 pm.

Fantastic studio with parking spot and walking distance to restaurants/coffee shop/shops on Main Street in Pilot Mountain. Everything was clean, organized, and very comfortable. Amanda was highly communicative and checked in with us multiple times. It’s a perfect spot, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book here again!!

Everything was wonderful with our stay. I did give 4 stars for the accuracy of the description......only because it says sleeps 4. My two older children did not fit on the pull out couch. If they were smaller or only one of them, it would have been perfect. 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 small children would have been more accurate. With that being said it was a great stay. Walking distance from a yummy cute little restaurant and a coffee shop. We enjoyed our time here. The master bed was so comfy!

Quaint downtown location within walking distance of all Pilot Mountain has to offer. Only issues were no sound barrier between units and issues with AC control. Owner did address the AC problem.

Room was very clean and looked like it did online. The owner had everything you would need and extra small things that is easy to forget when we pack at home.Before I express my cons about the rental, I want to say I have never been to this area and relied 100% on the description and reviews. So I hope this helps someone who is in my situation. Directly beside of the rental is the Tilted Ladder. It is extremely loud and we heard their karaoke until 1 am. The heat was set to auto. It would not let us turn the air on even when we turned the cool on. The couch was not relaxing at all. The bed was comfortable but the matress was just on a frame that slid easily on the cement floor. We were in the area for an event in Mount Airy. We were not satisfied with the area behind all the shops to get to the room. Unfortunately, we will not be back

For clarification for future guests, the unit is located on the first level of a recently renovated 128-year-old historic building in downtown Pilot Mountain, as noted in the listing. Being in the heart of downtown means there are nearby businesses, including The Tilted Ladder a few doors down. They operate under local noise ordinances and are typically closed and quiet by around 10–11pm. We did not receive any noise concerns from neighboring units that evening, and no concerns were brought to our attention during your stay that we could address in real time. We also provide a sound machine in the unit to help minimize typical downtown noise for guests who prefer additional background sound. Regarding the HVAC system, instructions are clearly posted to keep the system on “AUTO,” which still allows guests to adjust the temperature, warmer or cooler, as needed. Changing the mode can cause the system to stop functioning across units, and we’re always available to assist if there are any questions. We also want to clarify that the bed is supported by a heavy-duty platform frame designed for stability (800 lb capacity) and is not prone to shifting under normal use. Furnishings, including the couch and overall setup, are accurately shown in the listing photos so guests can make an informed decision prior to booking. We always encourage guests to reach out during their stay with any concerns, as we are responsive and happy to help resolve issues when given the opportunity. The unit was exactly as pictured, and the host was very responsive. Two major issues from our perspective:1) The living room furniture is not comfortable, at all - basically hard as a rock. We're used to something you can sink into while watching TV. There was no TV in the bedroom, but it was not included in the description/pictures so it was an oversight on my part. 2) The BIG deal is that we stayed over on a Saturday night. There is a night club next door with a band that played VERY loud music until 11 pm. We came back exhausted from a very long day and dinner and could not get to sleep (envision shaking walls) for hours. The next day, which was also early, we were equally exhausted. It's not exactly what we all hope for in a weekend getaway. My suggestion is that either you check in with the host about local live music or skip this rental altogether. The host did not seem receptive about posting this as a potential negative for renters. Cute spot in a great "downtown" Pilot Mountain area - very quaint. However, cannot recommend if comfort or sleep over the weekend are important to you.
