Introducing Thoreau — the most tucked-away of Notestone Reserve’s mirrored retreats in the heart of Hocking Hills. Set at the lower end of the property and surrounded by trees, this architectural glass cabin offers a naturally private escape.

Inside, a queen bed faces the forest beyond floor-to-ceiling glass, creating the feeling of sleeping among the trees. A thoughtfully equipped kitchenette makes it easy to prepare simple meals or morning coffee. Outside, unwind in your private hot tub or gather around the fire as the woods settle into quiet around you.

During the day, the mirrored exterior reflects the surrounding forest, blending seamlessly into its natural setting. In the evening, the glass becomes transparent from the inside, creating an immersive experience of the landscape beyond. Bathrooms feature frosted glass, and curtains are provided throughout the home for added privacy.

📶 Connectivity

Satellite WiFi is provided. Due to our wooded and rural setting, occasional interruptions may occur. Many guests enjoy the opportunity to unplug and reconnect with nature.

🌿 Natural Setting

The cabin is located in a wooded environment. While we maintain regular pest control, occasional sightings of insects or small wildlife are a normal part of being in nature.

⚠️ House Guidelines

• No parties or events
• Only registered guests permitted on the property
• No smoking, vaping, fireworks, ATVs, hunting, or weapons
• No commercial photography or videography without prior approval
• Hot tub: please use designated towels and replace the cover when not in use
• Septic system: flush toilet paper only

This home is located in a rural area of Hocking Hills. 4WD/AWD is recommended during winter months.
