This is a beautiful home and a stunning location. The amenities go far beyond any other rental we have ever stayed in. We had one minor issue with a shower drain, and the property owner came o we and fixed the problem immediately. Highly recommend.

The downstairs bathroom backed up three times. The overflow was in the downstairs bathroom shower. It was raw suage. The smell was atrocious. After "fixing" that problem., the toilet valve broke. He said he would be by to check on the pool. The last two days of our stay, the pool was green. We had to buy a skimmer to take care of some debris. Use of the bathroom by the pool is very inconvenient. When it is in use (which is almost always) you cannot access the house except through the front door. He offered us 250 for the inconvenience which we never received. I would not recommend this property. Very disappointed.

Vacation at Villa Rosa

Villa Rosa is in amazing condition and is ideally located on a canal and near the beach. Beautiful backyard with a great pool and deck. Kevin was a pleasure to deal with. We had a great family vacation in Sandbridge!

Wonderful beach and pool getaway in Virginia Beach!

We stayed for a week and had a wonderful time. Communication with owner was easy and check in was smooth. The home was clean and well kept and in a really nice neighborhood. Private pool, private kayak and paddle board and canoe, and shaded areas by the pool. I can go on and on.

Not as Advertised!

Listing noted there was a paddle boat that seated 4-5 people, bicycles, a basketball hoop in the driveway, and a hot tub, none of those items were available. He has since updated his listing, but it still shows a hot tub (he considers two seats in the corner of the pool with water same temperature as the pool a hot tub). Also lists all beds as queen and one was definitely smaller, probably a full size. Owner also showed up just about every day and we were surprised to see him at the house at 6:15 AM on the day of our departure. Despite our dissatisfaction that the listing was not accurate and we felt our privacy was invaded, the house is well maintained, clean and in a good location. We did rent a golf cart which made trips to the beach easier.

Delightful week in Sandbridge

Beautiful community and beach area to enjoy with home in great location. We really enjoyed this home as it was clean, spacious, and had a great recreational feel- large, beautiful pool, canoe/kayak/paddleboard, screened in porch and outdoor seating areas with shade. Kevin is extremely responsive and is very available. Highly recommend this home for couples and families.

Wonderful vacation

This house was perfect for our family week in sandbridge. We had more than enough room for 8 of us ...two kids under 6. Very clean and comfortable. The pool was fantastic with lots of deck space and just so peaceful. The owners were very pleasant and responded almost immediately with any concerns. Overall a fantastic trip!our family enjoyed everything about this house

Wonderful property!

We had a great stay at Kevin’s home in Sandbridge! The check in was welcoming as Kevin met us at the house and ensured we had what we needed. It was nice to have ample wagons, high chair and pool floats as it decreased our packing necessities. The property was everything we had hoped for and enjoyed the pool and short walk to the beach! The home was clean and would definitely recommend!

The home was extremely clean. Everything including the towels, sheets, kitchen. Our large family of kids and adults loved the home. Would definitely stay here again. We really needed to bring nothing. Great place with lots of amentieis.

Great spot!

Our first time at Sandbridge was so memorable and this property was perfect for our family (5 adults and 2 children ages 4 and 6) The beach is a short walk, not crowded in early June and Kevin had plenty of beach chairs and wagons supplied. The house is clean and comfortable. The outside space features several decks a generous backyard pool a shady cabana and a screened in porch for meals. We recommend it highly! Kevin was helpful and gracious including checking on mid week. Great spot!

The Backyard steals the show

We had never been to Sandbridge before so we really didn’t know what to expect. We enjoyed this extremely peaceful neighborhood, but there really isn’t anything other than the beach that’s accessible by foot. The house worked well for 6 adults and a newborn 
 but I can’t imagine it being comfortable for 12 people as advertised. The backyard area is every bit as beautiful as pictured and we spent most of our time there. We appreciated all the beach chairs, wagons, bicycles, boats, pool toys and cornhole. Grill and outside fridge was a huge bonus as the kitchen workspace is limited. The house is extremely clean and well maintained. The owners take great pride in the house — including meeting for check in to show you around, and a mid-week pool check in (that could be a little awkward if you’re not expecting it as owner doesn’t announce himself). Also, be advised if you rent via VRBO, your pre-check-in welcome email may give the wrong check in time — when in doubt, check with owner as he does not welcome early arrivals.

Perfect location

The house was on the canal which my kids loved fishing. The outside setup is everything. You have to drive 10-15 to get to a Walmart or Food lion. The beach is within walking distance. We say dolphins everyday we went.

Family vacation

We absolutely loved staying at this home. The pool, all the toys and supplies for the beach was very much appreciated. We spent a lot of time outside with the pool. It was well lite at night and a lot of seating. I would recommend this Home.

Great vacation home for our group!

The home was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Awesome pool and great location on the canal. The walk to the beach was short and there was a grocery store and restaurants nearby. The owner was very helpful and responsive to our questions. We would definitely stay here again!

A Fantastic Spot

We picked this spot because it had a pool, was on a canal with bay access and was close to the beach. We enjoyed the spot so much that some of us never made it to the beach! Great family space, immaculate and great hosts! Sadly, the house across the street from the Property burned down while we were there. Kevin was over that morning at 2:00 AM, hooked up a generator (as we had no power) and was back and cleaned up the ash and soot the next morning and washed all our cars. 10/10

Family vaca

We enjoyed our stay, despite the horrible house fire across the street. The inside of the house was clean and ready for us. The outside is a lovely area that is both fun and relaxing. The children loved the pool. The house is on a very quiet street and It is a short, easy walk to the beach. We would return to Sandbridge in the future.

Summer relaxation

We thoroughly enjoyed your home Kevin and beautiful backyard. The house and property were clean and well kept up. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking. Thank you for providing paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, tissues and laundry detergent so we didn't have to get them. We loved the screened in porch for our morning coffees and devotion time. Perfect backyard for sunbathing and eating outside at your picnic table. Pool was clean .... we wish the weather had been a little warmer to enjoy..... maybe next time. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.
