Venez profiter de tout ce que cette maison de bord de mer a à offrir. C'est une grande maison (presque 5000 pieds carrés) sur 4 niveaux. Superbes vues sur l'océan. terrasse bordant l'océan a gril à gaz pour vos repas de nombreux heureux à venir. Le bain à remous est sur le côté de l'océan et a beaucoup de place pour le plaisir. Nous avons des chaises et un parasol de plage et même notre propre maître nageur (presque privée). Il ya un accès direct à la plage élevée et la plage est parfaite. Apportez vos animaux de compagnie - ils aiment notre cour entièrement clôturée avec accès avant et arrière. Grande cuisine entièrement équipée pour votre commodité.

It’s a great location, and right on the beach. Close to everything, and the neighborhood is beautiful. I loved the fully fenced yard for my dogs. I also loved that everyone got their own bedrooms. Property is dated and not very well maintained, or what I would call comfortable, or accommodating, but we spent most of my time at the beach anyway, so it worked out fine. Overall a good stay.

We arrived at the property, and the elevator in the home did not work - a key reason we chose this property. The owner did offer us a neighboring property, with a working elevator - which we took. This after saying - "you hadn't chatted to note you had folks w limited movement"...my fault for not chatting?Both properties were very quirky, needed updating and work. If two showers were going, one went cold - same if dishwasher was running. Second property had no TV options - no cable, no streaming. That said - the deck was fabulous, and weather awesome, so we really enjoyed that. Kitchen also well appointed, with nice dining area.

Glad we had wonderful weather that weekend. Usually when someone must have the elevator they let me know when booking or getting check in instructions. We were able to get it working the following week. I offered full refund or the option of taking the house next door. This house had been closed down for the season, so hence no cable/wifi. The house next door wifi was accessible. Sorry you weren’t able to do it. We try to accommodate everyone. We would welcome y’all back anytime. Happy holidays!

Perfect Location, Great Stay!

Wonderful location with uncrowded beach! House is large enough to meet the needs of multiple families with plenty of space to hang out too! Host responds quickly to solve problems. Many parts of the house are beautiful and others need some cosmetic updates, but it was perfect for us!

We loved being able to access the beach so easily. There are windows and deck seating that need to be replaced, and we were surprised that we had to rent our own linens, but our siblings and families enjoyed the open layout and functional kitchen.

We had plenty of space for our family, and Lori was quick to respond when the internet went out. (It came back.) The house is on the market so I assume some updates to the kitchen cabinets may be coming soon, but everything worked fine. Great view and beach access. Very relaxing, and my husband especially appreciated the elevator.

Croatan Beach

My family came down to Virginia Beach with me and we couldn’t ask for a better location. The beach is not crowded and we have our “own”lifeguard. We were just steps from the ocean. I could see the sunrise from my bedroom window. The elevator was a bonus being able to transport food and luggage. The house was roomy and we were all able to have our space. Commutation with our host was easy and quick.

Water leak on Queen bed made it unusable. In description should mention does not come with linens prior to contract. Property old with safety issue of hand rails almost causing a significant fall in. 70 yo. All issues were immediately addressed and rectified. Lori was a great host. Beautiful views and overall relaxing stay with family.

Family beach weem

The beach location is absolutely perfect. The house had some cosmetic problems that should be addressed but dont detrack from the property experience (drawer pulls needing replacement, ceilings needing patchwork, etc). One bedroom sprung a leak during the storm, but Lori was very responsive when contacted about it. Overall a great week at the beach.

the back door to the house was open when we got there. The house reeked of mold. the kitchen sink leaked. the stove knob was gone so we couldn't cook. the balcony screens were ripped. the trash cans were full. there were ants everywhere

Wow! I had to look back and see how our conversation went. You never contacted me with these concerns. I know it was a quick weekend, but we surely would have helped you out with this. Trash cans outside can fill up as we have pick up on Tuesdays. Not sure about stove knob, all was there and working when you left. The screen has been repaired and ants are a problem when food is left out. We have spray for them under sink. Sink has been repaired and not sure about back door unlocked. We are local and have a handyman available to take care of things you need. Please be sure to reach out next time. We want to make sure everything is how you want it.

The location is amazing and there is plenty of room, however the house needs work. Two of the chairs in the living room were so stained we had to put towels over them. There was a giant dog turd on the porch when we checked in. The hot water stopped working and while the owner came and fixed it, there were a few cold showers. The room where the pool table is located had too much of an odor of must and mildew to use. Loose toilets, ants in the kitchen, hand rail coming off the wall, it just is not worth the price.

I just came back from the house. I wish I could upload some pics but it doesn’t allow me to. The chairs didn’t look stained and I didn’t see a single ant. The turd on deck was removed immediately (told you gate was left open overnight). When you called about hot water I was over in less than 10 minutes to reset heater. I checked toilets and am assuming you meant toilet seats. We tightened everything down. It’s a well loved beach house and we have so many repeat guests, I’m sorry you were disappointed. We try to make sure that your vacation is the best possible, but if we don’t hear from you we can not make it right. IMHO, 3 days is not enough to enjoy our beautiful beach. Best!

5 Star location on Virginia Beach

If you want beach front property on Virginia Beach very close to stores, golf courses, and restaurants, Lori's place is for you. She is very accommodating and answers back very fast.

Great house

This house was perfect for our family vacation. The location was perfect- right on the beach and close to the restaurants near the oceanfront area. We had an issue with the wifi at first, but Lori was very responsive. We would definitely book this house again!

We live full time in Croatan now, originall from DC and NY. We were avid skiers, so you will notice a bit of that around the house. We really want to make your stay with us memorable. The beach is perfect. Come and enjoy!

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

We love Croatan, just over Rudee bridge from the resort. Close to so many restaurants and other entertainment. Almost private beach with no street parking, but we still have lifeguard service in season. This is a big dog neighborhood. Easy walking, nice and flat. Almost surrounded by water. The sunrises are unbelievable and the dolphins love to put on a show. Come and enjoy!

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

It’s a super cool space. So open and airy. Original artwork throughout the place. Even have a ski lift swing in the great room(originally from Lake Tahoe where we also have a place). I’m getting new pictures this weekend and will post them here. Winters are very mild here and there is a gas fireplace to make it cozy. Come and enjoy
