The condo:
Our First-floor condo has 2 bedrooms, one king, one queen, both with a tv, 2 full bathrooms, all stocked with plenty of plush & hi grade linens.
The kitchen has a lovely seating area with a combo coffee/cocktail bar that has everything you need to enjoy your stay morning to night. Hot Coffee & Iced Coffee Brewer, Blender, coffee mugs, teacups & full set of cocktail & wine glasses.
The well-appointed kitchen has everything you need if you choose to stay in, cook or entertain. New appliances, and plenty of storage truly set this place as a home away from home.
With an additional dining table with seating for six, feel free to show off your finest culinary creation for guests at any time.
There is plenty of comfortable seating to relax in the living room, with a large tv that offers Samsung TV for your viewing enjoyment. You will find some great board & card games under the tv a cabinet for a fun night of socializing.
The additional den with 2 swivel /rocking/ reclining chairs & pull-out couch offers an additional area for reading, relaxing, chatting or guest sleeping when needed.
A well-stocked BEACH & POOL closet has everything you need for a trip to one of the several beaches, just a short ride away. From large beach towels to chairs, umbrella, cooler & even a beach cart, all you need to bring is sunblock & refreshments.
The laundry room has a washer & dryer, cleaning supplies, and anything you may need to care for your day-to-day needs at a long-term rental.
Our screened in Lanai, fully furnished as well, overlooks the 10th fairway, and although we can not take credit for the beautiful birds that seem to visit daily, we will invite you to enjoy watching them while relaxing, see the golfers playing through, or switch on the lanai tv if you choose.
This is not your typical rental space, stark and unwelcoming. Our home is decorated, warm & inviting, which will be sure to make you feel like the guest we know you are, not a number on a ledger. We truly want you to love staying here as much as we do.
The Country Club:
With all the options of communities in Lakewood Ranch, we chose the Esplanade Golf & Country Club because we found so much to love here. Its a smaller more exclusive community, with all the amenities of the more populated places. The gated entry assures you feel as safe as could be. All of the onsite amenities are for the sole use and enjoyment of the residents and guests. Starting with the 3 swimming pool options available. My favorite is the main pool located next to the golf clubhouse. Here you will find lots of comfortable seating available, umbrellas, cabanas and a welcoming pool that’s large enough to rarely feel crowded.
Too chilly to take a swim? A little sore from todays round of Golf? Hop into the hot tub and relax.
Here you will also find an on site spa, that offers everything from pedicures, facials, to full body massage and everything in between.
If your feeling any guilt at all from all this relax & refresh there is an on site gym, I will have to believe my neighbors that it’s a wonderful place to work out, as I have personally never felt the need to do so when I’m on my vacation time!
If you didn’t pack a cooler, remember the adjoining TIKI bar is not just convenient ( slip on your sandals & a coverup) but offers some delicious food and drink options. You will enjoy being treated to the service that comes with being in a country club setting.
There are also two other pools on site that offer a quieter visit, if that’s more to your liking.
On site dining is also available at the Barrel Bistro & Dodeci 951
The activities:
Lets start with the biggest draw- the Golf Course! STUNNING, We may be partial, but we truly believe Esplanade Golf & Country Club has the BEST greens keeping team in Lakewood ranch! Multiple golfers in your family? Wonderful! You will have a link to schedule and set up your tee times, and the club does offer rental clubs based on availability. Only one golfer? No problem, My husband often is on his own and swears every time that he was paired up with the nicest people ever. Don’t be shy, meet some of the others that are enjoying the same lifestyle as you. There is an additional transfer fee for use of the golf course, please inquire at booking request time.
Pickle ball has become one of the most popular, rapidly growing sports in the world and in your Esplanade community. There are over 350 members currently participating in the many pickleball activities. Rarely is there a day or evening when there isn't vigorous play taking place on the courts. Nothing beats the sound of the ball and the camaraderie of our residents playing pickleball
Bocce- Located at the Amenity Center, our Bocce Courts provide the perfect setting for friendly competition, relaxation, and socializing
Tennis-The seasonal schedule includes league play opportunities, social play, lessons and clinics and a calendar of events that is welcoming to all members. Esplanade residents enjoy the amenities, activities and events in our tennis program.6 Lighted Har-Tru Tennis Courts, USPTA Tennis Professionals available for instruction, IPTPA Pickleball Professionals available for instruction.
The Lakewood Ranch Community
Although you could most certainly never leave the club and have an amazing time, there is so much more to do and lots I can recommend-
Main street Lakewood Ranch has a wonderful small town feel full of extraordinary restaurants, shopping, spas, hair & nail salons, a theatre and so much more, I will also give you a link to their list of planned activities which include nights of live music & Sunday farmers & locals market.
Waterside Lakewood Ranch offer s similar entertainment, live music, and food trucks every Wednesday night, and this is a fun evening not to be missed.
Then there is UTC with an amazing must-see Mall, multiple shopping plazas, and more bakeries, restaurants and bar options than you could imagine.
The Beaches
We have many options, 15 miles from our condo-
Lido Beach, with a great pavilion, rentable chairs & umbrellas if you don’t wish to utilize ours, bathrooms, changing rooms, food options, cocktails, ice cream and an on-site pool, just around the corner from St Armond Circle renowned for its walkable shopping and dining.
Siesta Key a must see with the beach town feel. Crystal clear blue waters and powder white sands that consist of 99% quartz, this beach is an absolute must-visit destination for anyone travelling to the west coast of Florida. Every year, visitors flock to this tiny island to witness some of the best sand sculpting art in the world, as it is home to the Crystal Classic Master Sand Sculpting Competition. With extremely shallow waters and lifeguards keeping a close watch around the clock this beach has become known as one of the safest beaches in the world making it ideal for young children to play freely in its waters.
Travel a bit further to enjoy Ana Maria Island, Americas #1 Beach or Venice beach the shark tooth center of Florida.
