Known for its natural beauty and relaxed pace, it offers easy access to outdoor activities like canoeing, tubing, fishing, and hiking. Visitors can also enjoy local shops, cafés, farmers markets, and a laid-back riverside vibe that makes it a perfect escape for nature lovers and weekend adventurers.
Guests have full access to the property, with the exception of a few locked closets reserved for owner use and cleaning supplies.
Our favorite part of the property is its location. It feels completely secluded in the woods while being just minutes from the conveniences of nearby towns. Grab coffee or breakfast sandwiches at the Stickett Inn Bang Bang Cafe or enjoy a family dinner at The Riverâs Edge in Barryville, both just four minutes away. Pecks Market and other essentials in Eldred are only five minutes down the road.
Set on 5.5 acres of forest and tucked back from the main road, this renovated 2,500 square foot home offers a peaceful and secluded escape with modern comfort and functionality.
Upstairs, you'll find four bedrooms. The primary suite features a king-size bed and a private en suite bathroom with dual sinks. Two additional rooms have queen beds, one of which includes a desk that is perfect for working remotely, while the fourth bedroom has a twin bunk bed. A second full bathroom with a tub is also located on this floor.
The main level includes a dining area with a large wood table, a fully equipped kitchen with a Nespresso, drip coffee maker, French press, and temperature-controlled tea kettle, as well as a full bathroom with a shower. Enjoy cozy evenings by the gas fireplace in the sitting room or unwind with a movie in the family room, which features a 75-inch Samsung OLED Smart TV.
Off the kitchen, the deck offers outdoor dining and lounge seating, with a BBQ grill nearby. The yard includes a stone fire pit, a swing set, and plenty of space for outdoor games including Spikeball and badminton.
