Venez visiter notre chalet Victorian Roe Summer Cottage entièrement rénové! Cette suite au premier étage dispose de 3 chambres, 2 salles de bain complètes accompagnées d'une cuisine complète et un grand salon. Il y a une allée privée avec un parking pour 4 voitures et un parking disponible dans la rue, le tout dans une rue calme du centre-ville de Watkins Glen. La suite A est l'ensemble du rez-de-chaussée de cette ancienne pension de famille récemment restaurée. Nous sommes à un pâté de maisons de l'entrée du Watkins Glen State Park et à quelques pas du lac Seneca.

Very nice place to stay, close to everything in downtown Watkins Glen, Cottage is clean and neat. Host was great, excellent communications and responsive.

We enjoyed our stay at Roe A. The property is the ground floor of the house, has 3 large bedrooms and a very large common area with kitchen. It is newly renovated, and the beds are very comfortable. It is 2 blocks from Watkins Glen State Park and 10 to the lake. We thought it was a perfect base from which to explore the Finger Lakes.

Our unit was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the front porch. The kitchen was clean and had plenty of dishes. It was located in a great area - we could walk to many shops and restaurants. The living area was larger than expected. Highly recommended!

It was perfect for a family reunion. We leased all three floors. The front porch is in fair disrepair but still was a great place to hang out with really comfortable chairs. It was a surprise there were no railings on the porch. It was about 3 ft high. There were only four forks for the eight of us. That was surprising too. The church next door rings it's bells more than seems to make sense. Easy walks to all the great amenities in town, the state park, the harbor, the restaurants.

Row Cottage has all the basics in the most convenient location for a Watkins Glen visit. Check in was a breeze and communication was too.

Nice to have a parking spot and walk to Watkins Glen attractions. Only 5 minute walk to Watkins Glen park entrance North for the Gorge Trail.

This was one of the most spacious and comfortable VRBOs we’ve stayed in. It was spotlessly clean and the host was incredibly responsive and helpful. We would absolutely stay again! There’s an A/c unit in the main living area and a window unit in one of the bedrooms. There are also tons of fans in the closet, making it just right for a summer stay.

The property was as described. Very nice, very modern, very clean. The are is great. It's a quick walk down to the lake or to the park. Would absolutely stay here again on next trip to the area.

A last-minute trip led us to this great find, which met and exceeded our needs. The location is perfect for walking into town. Note that it sits at a four-way stop, so you'll hear some traffic noise, and it's across from a church with chimes from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.-not an issue for us but worth noting. The only downside was the well-worn bed, which could use an update, as we struggled to find a comfortable spot.

Conveniently located to food and Watkins glen attractions. Church bells ringing at early morning hours were a surprise as was the noise from the vacationers on the second floor.

We had two friends stay with us . Four total. There was plenty of room for all of us . Nice big kitchen and plenty of utensils, dinnerware and pots and pans. Made breakfast all three days . Nice refrigerator and dish washer also . Plenty of towels in bathrooms. All in all a great experience except for two small things. The second floor tenants were very loud with their foot traffic. At times sounding like they were jumping up and down and running from room to room. Secondly we were huge Pittsburgh Steeler fans and could not get the game on TV. We will stay again. Third visit to this unit which is showing its age. Electric outlets at stove do not work. No hot pads. Floor in first bathroom beginning to sink due to water leakage at shower. Porch in need of repair. Need better instructions for TV. Not everyone is familiar with satellite or under 40 years of age. Nice location but in need of work.

Amazing Location

We just got back from our stay in Watkins Glen. Our primary objective was to go hiking at the state park. Roe Summer Cottage was in an amazing location. It was less than a 5 minute walk to the state park and was very close walking distance to Seneca Lake. All of the shops and restaurants were very close by. It has a nice open floor plan. There are fan for the bedrooms. I could see that it may get warm during the summer months as there is no air conditioning in the bedrooms. The only negative was that I was unable to find linens for the trundle bed (I went to Walmart and bought some) and my own personal opinion is the extra blankets should be updated. Like others have said it is across the street from a church so you will hear the bells go off in the morning. If you are looking for a spacious space that is close to the state park then a stay here is a must! We will definitely be back!!

Ground Floor Apartment. Promising Property. Modern Ambiance in a Vintage Exterior.

This apartment seems to be a work in progress going in a good direction for modernizing a Victorian interior with nine foot plus ceilings. Taryn was very reachable and responsive during our visit. The open floor plan handled our three generation family quite well. Location convenient to shopping, etc. Beds very comfortable. Kitchen needs bit fuller selection of dishes, pots pans, etc. for cooking full meals and with smaller children's hands in mind. Three nights during sub-zero weather showed the need for a better seal around the front door, a place for wet boots and more aggressive bathroom heating. Steps need a railing also. We imagine the owners are on this already. These items are all easily addressable. We'll be checking with Taryn when we all travel together again because the location was very good for in town stuff and still close to Burdett where we were visiting more family.
