Ce charmeur au bord de la baie offre le meilleur de tous les mondes: un quai privĂ© sur la baie de Little Sodus dans votre cour avant et un hĂ©bergement pouvant accueillir jusqu'Ă  10 personnes dans une atmosphĂšre dĂ©tendue. Naviguez, naviguez, pĂȘchez, nagez ou faites du ski nautique sur le lac Ontario ou la baie de Little Sodus, ou dĂ©tendez-vous simplement sur la terrasse spacieuse donnant sur l'eau.

Fair Haven et ses environs offrent quelque chose pour tout le monde: Fair Haven State Park, sports nautiques, pĂȘche, golf, randonnĂ©e, vĂ©lo, shopping, antiquitĂ©s, sites historiques.

SituĂ© sur la rive sud du lac Ontario, cette zone est passĂ©e d'un port de navigation Ă  une communautĂ© de villĂ©giature et abrite certains des meilleurs sites de pĂȘche, de natation, de navigation de plaisance et de camping de l'État de New York.

We are returning guests and have a great time when we stay here. Communication with the owner was excellent. We love paddle boarding from the dock. Weeds seemed to be worse than other years in that section of the bay but there were weed cutters at work. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and look forward to returning again.

The cottage is a great place to stay.3 bathrooms make it convenient for large families .the deck is wonderful and its very peaceful too

Great family vacation!

This place was perfect for our family vacation. The views of the bay are beautiful. We went swimming and fishing and had a blast. There was plenty of room for all ten who stayed. We will be back again. We made some special memories here. Thanks.

Beautiful Property

We had a large group and this home meet all the needs to have a large group stay all in one place. The owner, Mark, is very nice and readily available to answer any questions or concerns. He was very nice to work with and very accommodating.

If you appreciate traditional cottages, you'll love this one!

Mark was a fantastic communicator from the start and throughout our stay. The cottage is a beautiful blend of updates and traditional styles that can comfortably sleep many. The large deck was perfect for eating meals together or just reading a book while overlooking the bay. Lastly, we have a jets ski so the dock was a huge perk for us. Highly recommend.

Lovely Fairhaven Stay

We had everything we needed and appreciated the ability to keep our sailboat at the dock, launch kayaks from the property, proximity to Fairhaven, restaurants, state parks, and, of course, the bay and the lake. The owner was excellent at answering questions we had. We enjoyed the house and grounds, and plan to be back the next time we have a large group wanting to sail and be on the bay/lake.

Gorgeous location and fun for everyone!

Bayside Beauty has an incredible, beautiful overlook of Little Sudus Bay. The home is roomy, comfortable, clean, and well stocked with what you need. The home works well for a good-sized group who are comfortable with a mix of private bedrooms and camp-like dormitory accommodations. Everyone was comfortable and pleased with their beds, even the foldouts. Extra blankets abounded. The multiple bathrooms and roomy kitchen made life with a group easy. There are two large tables in two adjoining rooms that were used for game nights by two groups, and the layout allows for both privacy and interaction. We explored Fair Haven State Park, Chimney Bluffs, the quaint Fair Haven downtown, wineries, disk golf courses, trails, and even a little fishing off the dock. We came up for the eclipse and had stellar weather our entire stay... except for the two hours of the eclipse, but we enjoyed Bayside Beauty so much that it didn't matter. We all cherished that water view and could sense the generations of love and laughter that filled this legacy summer home. Everyone had a great time and were sad to leave. Mark was a wonderful host, easy to work with, and kept me well informed.

Fishing trip

Great setting on the bay. Home was as described. Bedding (blankets and comforters) were not clean and didn’t have enough for each bed. Dishwasher filter was clogged, so had to wash everything by hand. Some dishes were dirty upon arrival. Overall home was comfortable and was a nice place to relax after a day of fishing.

Very nice

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was nice. The View was spectacular. He has everything that you would want if you are camping. My nephews had fun fishing on the dock and they caught lots of fish. It has a beautiful sunrise. Only one criticism, the beds in the basement smelled a little musty.

Nice location, not a nice house

The locations was nice with a view of the water. The house is not in great shape though, people should know this before renting. This is not an updated clean rental property, it is an older camp that is being rented out as-is with very old and dirty furnishings (including the couches and the linens and pillows for guests to use). Upon arrival I called the owner to express our disappointment. We weren’t even sure if anyone had cleaned. He sent a cleaning person back which helped a little. But overall I would not recommend this house to anyone who cares about cleanliness.. We were also not able to swim at the house because of the weeds but there’s a beach at the state park so we paid each day to swim there. We expected the weeds but this is a particularly weedy/buggy part of the bay so bring bug spray. The owner was as helpful as he could be given the circumstances.

A beautiful bay camp we have rented for years.

We love the location on the water. It’s a nice size area for family games and a fire on the lake at night.

Family Wedding Weekenf

We had an amazing time in Fair Haven. We were there for my niece’s wedding at Collaca Estate winery just a mile down the road. We had a great cookout on Sunday night on the deck with my family and brother-in-law. Evenings were great as we fished off the dock catching lots of bluegill and some good size bass. After dark we enjoyed campfires on the bay and family games later inside. The bedrooms were great, plenty of hot water for showers. Overall a great place to stay and I would look to stay here again in the future if we head up that way again!

West Bay has been in our family for 4 generations. What started as a one room bayside retreat has grown over the years to combine the rustic charm of the original cottage with the modern amenities which make living here comfortable.

'Sant Cottage' as it was originally known has been the summer retreat for one of Fair Haven's founding families. Generations of the Sant family still live around Little Sodus Bay.

West Bay was built for Raymond S. Sant, one of the most influential figures in the development of Upstate New York. Ray Sant was a soldier and educator whose foresight converted rural New York's one room school system into the the centralized school system that exists today.

Ray Sant's interest in Fair Haven and Sterling lead him to chronicle its' development in several books tracing the history of families and businesses in the area.

West Bay is where he found his inspiration.
