Niché sur une colline surplombant la baie de Kenmare, les vues spectaculaires font de cette maison un endroit fabuleux pour chaque type de vacances. Situé sur un acre, la maison a beaucoup d'espace pour les enfants à jouer et les adultes pour se détendre. Élégamment et confortablement décorée, cette accueillante maison de Kerry propose un hébergement spacieux qui se prête à des familles ou des groupes d'amis. Il y a six chambres à coucher, composées de 3 chambres doubles (une ensuite) au rez-de-chaussée, et deux chambres doubles très spacieuses et une chambre avec 2 lits superposés et un lit simple au premier étage. Capacité maximale 13.

Il y a deux salles de bains, la salle de bain en bas a une belle baignoire sabot et les 3 douches sont des douches de puissance.

Il y a une grande cuisine avec salle à manger. La cuisine est entièrement équipée et dispose d'un four électrique et de plaques de cuisson. La cuisine mène à un gazebo à travers des portes bifolding sur une terrasse couverte. Cette zone a un foyer, qui est un espace fabuleux pour se détendre le soir, griller des guimauves et se détendre!

Le beau salon a une magnifique cheminée ouverte et plafond à double hauteur avec une galerie atterrissage. Les vues magnifiques de la baie de Kenmare peuvent être appréciées blotties devant un feu douillet, si vous choisissez.

Il ya une salle à manger séparée, qui a également de belles vues tout au long de la journée et les couchers de soleil en soirée peuvent être appréciés avec vos repas du soir que vous planifiez vos activités du lendemain!

Il y a une buanderie avec laveuse et sécheuse et un deuxième réfrigérateur.

Lorsque vous avez terminé le Ring of Kerry et Ring of Beara, vous pouvez profiter de quelques-uns des itinéraires Kerry Way qui sont à quelques minutes de la maison.

Vous pourrez nager, pêcher et faire du canoë-kayak depuis la jetée de Templenoe, à moins de 5 minutes de la maison, tout comme le parcours de golf Ring of Kerry.

Great location and house!

We had a family of 11 people visit the Kenmare area and stayed at this lovely home and had the BEST time. Everyone loved the house and location is unbelievably beautiful. The house is well maintained and perfect for a group. We already want to come back and know exactly where we will stay!

Wonderful home for family vacation

Our family loved this home just outside Kenmare. There were 11 of us and the home was a perfect location for our first visit to County Kerry. Aileen was a quick to respond to questions we had. We had a great time and hope to return for another stay!

The property is good with huge rooms and had everything you could possibly need. The bbq is tiny and could do with a family sized one but the weather was terrible when we were there so it wasn’t an issue. The property could do with some TLC and needs decorating and the outside area needs repairs, the Firepit area needs a tidy up and roof repair to stop the leaks onto the sitting area but we didn’t really use this space due to the weather.

Thank you so much for the feedback! The house was actually slated for a bit of a facelift last September—BBQ, fire pit shuffle, the works—but due to a variety of reasons (mostly the kind that laugh in the face of schedules), we had to hit pause. The good news is that everything’s back on track for this September. I would’ve loved to have it all ready for this summer, but alas, the renovation gods had other plans, a bit like the weather gods. Kerry is amazing even with a ‘drop’ of rain.

Another amazing week!!

We returned to this house for a second visit after discovering how great it was! It is equipped very well for a large group and we have felt very home staying there. The house is furnished to a high standard and it feels like a treat to live there for a week. Highlights were 'bean and batch' coffee and buns and jumping off Templenoe Pier. We would love to return again if circumstances allow.

The perfect house

The descriptions of the place are accurate but still don’t do it Justice. Everyone of us nine loved it and made it our home. And the view from the house is spectacular.The host, Aileen was easy to reach but we really didn’t need to as we found everything easily. I would go back and I would recommend it without any hesitation.

Sublime Kenmare house!!!

This was such a special holiday in such a special property! Wow! Look at the pictures and then multiply by a thousand 😊 Aileen is a fabulous host and was brilliant with suggestions and information, so friendly and accommodating. The house is something else - luxurious, and brilliantly comfortable. Fabulous rooms and lovely to have fire pit and water feature. The views at the front across the bay to the mountains are breathtaking. Fantastic holiday!

Beautiful house, stunning location

My family came over from the USA to visit and we couldn’t have chosen a more perfect house for our 9 night holiday. Aileen was a very gracious and responsive host who have a wide variety of recommendations for activities in the area to get us started. The house itself was wonderfully equipped and stylishly decorated. We spent many happy hours preparing food, playing card/board games, and just spending time together in a lovely location. All family members commented on how comfortable the beds were. We were so pleased with everything and I can’t rate the experience any higher!!

Cork family reunion in Kerry

We stayed at Aileen’s place just west of Kenmare for 8 days while meeting up with other family and relatives. The house was as advertised, it has plenty of space with 6 bedrooms and 3 baths. A wonderful kitchen with a large table that we sat 12 people for a meal. The view of Kenmare Bay and the Beara peninsula is beautiful. You are nestled in about the cow pastures. A really beautiful and peaceful place. Aileen will have all sorts of suggestions for activities for. We had a great time.

Great house in a beautiful setting.

Set in a beautiful location really close to lovely Kenmare with all its amebities, this house had lots of space. 5 very comfortable large doubles and a very cute room for kids to sleep in singles. The fire pit was nice and the lighting around it all was a nice touch. Unfortunately the weather didn't allow us to quite enjoy it with the bi-folds fully open! Aileen was incredibly communicative before and throughout our stay, making great recommendations for things to do and responding to any queries. We had a great family holiday, and it didn't feel small even with 11 adults in there, and 2 toddlers running around! Would love to stay again sometime.

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay. We were 10 adults and 1 child and the house was big enough that everyone could have space for themselves as well and at the same time offered enough possibilities to sit together comfortably. The kitchen is, like the whole house, great equipped and there was nothing we would have missed, although we also cooked a lot. The beds were good, just a little too soft for us in places. The location is an absolute dream and the starry sky overwhelming. Aileen is a great host and did everything she could to make us feel at home. The wealth of tips and recommendations she had for us were just great. If we had any questions, she was always available and very helpful. We would definitely come back again. Thank you very much for the wonderful time.

The house was beautiful, the property was gorgeous and Kenmare is delightful

Words cannot express how beautiful our experience was. We had a group of 13 and before we arrived we were concerned about whether the house would be comfortable for our group. It was more than spacious enough. The property was also large we did Yoga in the front lawn as it was so pretty and star-gazed in the night. The local pubs and shops are awesome, Kenmare was written about in our local paper as a hidden gem of Ireland. Also the location of the house made day trips to Beara Peninsula, Dingle, Killarney and Cork manageable, each of which was lovely in its own way. Thank-you so much for providing such a beautiful house for our three generation family to enjoy. Your country is beautiful as are the people. We will be back!

A great place to stay

Overall this was the best place we stayed at in our holiday. Plenty of space, a nice open kitchen, plenty of bedrooms. Excellent value. It's about a 10 minute drive from Kenmare town which is a nice place to spend an afternoon or evening. Aileen was open and communicative to provide us with support. A couple of nitpicks: The renter should make sure to have the photo of the property on hand when arriving at the location. This part of Ireland doesn't use street addresses and you'll need to follow written directions to find the place. We followed the directions carefully and still got the wrong home before the neighbors kindly corrected us. There is wifi in the rental but the signal doesn't reach every bedroom. On the whole, well worth the price.

Thank you for the feedback on the Google Maps issue, we have followed up with them to correct the location. Regarding the WiFi connection throughout the house, we haven’t had major issues even with people working remotely from the house, but due to the mountains it is possible that service can be impacted from time to time. We were delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay.

Kenmare Cracker!

My husband & I and our 2 year old spent 5 nights in this super hillside holiday home. Initially as mother of a toddler I was nervous about our holiday location but I was pleasantly surprised. The house was clean, welcoming and well maintained & we would recommend the house to other family members with mixed aged groups. The house is in a superb location, Kenmare is a 10 minute drive for any of your supplies, places to eat and shop. We ate in Jam cafe one afternoon which was lovely. We did combination of eating out and cooking at home as the kitchen is fully equipped. For day trips we were very close to beautiful beaches and towns to visit, Sneem was a great place for a cuppa and an ice-cream. Muckross House and Gardens is a must. The local Drumquinna Manor is beautiful and worth a visit. The weather was mixed but it did not dampen our enthusiasm. Its a fine big house and could cater for large groups for New years or Christmas gatherings. Enjoy!

Fabulous views and wonderful shared space

A perfect venue for entertaining or shared family fun. Huge kitchen and lovely outdoor space for dining alfresco. You're a short drive from Kenmare and a medium drive to fabulous beaches, but if it rains you won't regret coming - the house is very large with plenty of room for dining, games or just finding a quiet space to yourself. Aileen is an excellent host and very responsive. There's a detailed welcome pack that explains everything from operating the boiler to refilling the coffee machine! One quite key issue - the double beds are quite small. In fact, one of them has an even smaller mattress so very tricky to fit two people. Various maintenance issues as well - pieces missing from every puzzle and game, no blind on one of the bedroom windows (in mid summer!), no lock or catch on that bedroom door, a few bulbs blown/missing and a weird tap that shoots water over the bathroom sink! The house is really special though, and given Aileen's attention to her guests I'm sure small issues will be sorted soon.

Hi Phil, Thank you for your feedback, we like to know what we can improve on. We always ask that if guests have any issues on arrival to let us know immediately, so that we can sort it out as quickly as possible for them. Bulbs can easily be replaced if we know, as we always have extra, my apologies for any missed while setting up the house for you. We waiting for the velux blind to arrive for the second window as the incorrect size was shipped, it is unfortunately taking a lot longer than we had anticipated.The door lock will be sorted also. The double beds are french antiques and are difficult to match exactly to a modern double mattress. These bed bases are ever so slightly larger than modern double mattresses, rather than the beds being smaller than double size. I understand your frustration with the jigsaw, (I can only imagine how long it took to find out that there were pieces missing!) Unfortunately we are not in a position to guarantee that every game piece has been returned to the correct box or that all 1000 pieces of a jigsaw are there after each guest group. We rely on our guests to leave these items intact as a matter of courtesy. We are delighted that you had a great holiday. It was lovely to get to meet you all. Wonderful Spacious Property

I stayed here with eleven other members of my family for a week in July 2024. The house offered fantastic views over Kenmare Bay, spacious rooms, a fantastic outdoor space and every amenity needed for a relaxing holiday. Everything detailed in the About this property is very accurate. The showers were great, the extra fridge freezer was very useful. The younger generation really appreciated the long mirrors in some of the bedrooms. The welcome pack was a lovely touch and was appreciated by all. The location of the house was fabulous as it was only ten minutes drive from the lovely town of Kenmare, which had so many wonderful pubs and places to eat. Some members of my family enjoyed golf in the very scenic Ring Of Kerry Golf Course, which is only five minutes away from the property. We explored the local areas and had day trips to Cork, Kinsale, Killarney, Dingle and the Ring Of Kerry. Aileen was a fantastic host, her suggestions and information that she sent before our visit was very helpful and allowed us to plan our daily itineraries. We had a super week at Aileen's house and would recommend it to anyone. We were also very fortunate to have lovely weather which made the holiday even better. Outstanding home outside of Kenmare

This home was very well appointed. Very nice bed linens. The kitchen was set up nicely to make family dinner. The view from the front of the property is amazing. Everything was as advertised. Fire pit and waterfall in the back were beautiful. It's a lovely home.

There are many unique features in the house, the views, the beautiful fireplace, the gallery landing on the first floor or the handmade stained glass doors leading from the dining room into the sitting room but it has a unique atmosphere when you walk through the door which is a special welcome to all guests.
