This stylish 1 bed/1bath loft guesthouse is located near the historic North End neighborhood and Patty Jewett Golf Course. Ideally situated in a quiet neighborhood that’s close to downtown Colorado Springs, UCCS Downtown, and steps away from urban trails and parks, this guesthouse offers everything you need for a getaway to Colorado Springs.

The Space
Completely detached from the main house, sitting on the back of the property off the back alley, the Arcadia Guesthouse features smart WiFi locks that generate unique-to-you codes to ensure guest privacy and security. Please note that the owners live in the front house, but rest assured all spaces are completely private. They cannot see into your space, and no windows from the guesthouse look towards the main house.
Cleanliness is a cornerstone of our property. To ensure we have ample time to thoroughly clean and prepare the space for each guest, we generally do not allow for early check-in or late check-out. Should the space be ready for your arrival ahead of time, we’ll reach out and let you know so you can check in early if desired. Please note that all linens are washed with unscented laundry detergent, and we do not use bleach or other harsh abrasives when cleaning.
Bedroom
There are two sleeping areas within the home. The upstairs loft bedroom provides an inviting retreat for you to relax after a day of exploring. The king-sized Casper mattress, fresh linens and cozy bedding make this the perfect space to get a great night’s sleep. You’ll also find ample closet space for storing luggage and hanging clothes, a vintage oak dresser, and two nightstands with additional storage, bedside lamps, and charging ports for all your devices.
Bathroom
The ¾ bathroom features a glass-door enclosed standing shower (no tub), and all the essentials, including luxe plush bath sheets, green tea shampoo, conditioner and body wash, and additional storage for your shower essentials. Additional amenities include a wall-mounted electric heater (for those extra chilly nights), hair dryer, and a first aid kit.
Living Area
During the day, the area is flooded with natural light from the windows, and in the evening, the lights can be dimmed to create the coziest space, perfect for watching a movie or playing a board game. The Samsung Smart TV features Samsung TV which includes 350 live TV channels and Netflix, or you can log into your favorite streaming services. In the left closet door under the stairs, there is a cart with games and puzzles for your entertainment. The chaise sofa features a queen pull-out sofa bed to accommodate additional guests or those who may not want to go upstairs. Clean linens for the sofa bed are found in the storage compartment of the chaise and ottoman.
Kitchen
The kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials – air fryer, blender, Keurig 1-cup coffee maker and milk frother, French press coffee maker, 4-slice toaster, and an electric kettle. A variety of k-cups with caffeinated and decaf options are provided, in addition to an assortment of tea bags and hot chocolate. Clean drinking water is provided with the gravity-fed water filtration system that we clean and fill daily.
Laundry
There is a stackable washer and dryer and laundry basket in the right closet door under the stairs. Unscented laundry pods can be found under the kitchen sink.
Private Back Patio
Step outside to your private patio area, perfect for enjoying your morning cup of coffee or grilling and hanging out with a cold beverage and playing cornhole.
Safety
There is a fire extinguisher located under the kitchen sink and a first aid kit located under the bathroom sink.
Air Conditioning & Heating
The guesthouse features two separate mini-split systems which provide air conditioning and heating to ensure year-round comfort. There are two remotes, one on the main floor and one upstairs, allowing you to adjust the temperature to your liking.
Smoke-Free, Pet-Free Property
This is a smoke-free property. No smoking of any kind (tobacco, marijuana, vaping, etc.) is permitted, not even on the patio. While we love pets, no pets are allowed on property out of consideration and comfort for all guests. A $300 fee will be charged if these rules are broken.
