Sunset House: chalet rustique du Maine perché au-dessus du village de pêcheurs avec vue sur le port

Sunset House s'élève à une belle hauteur pour regarder les gens marcher et le port de Port Clyde fredonner. Depuis sa terrasse de dîner orientée vers le sud-ouest, le chef à domicile peut profiter de la préparation d'une tempête de plats et de poissons locaux dans une cuisine qui présente une ambiance de chalet d'antan et une grande table pour que les invités se joignent à la camaraderie des amitiés d'été.
La chambre avec lit queen et les lits jumeaux dans le couloir. Une pelouse ombragée modeste pour profiter des brises fraîches de l'océan. Plein soleil toute la journée sur le pont face à l'océan. Un poêle à bois Franklin dans le salon pour des soirées fraîches. Informel et amusant, Sunset House sera dans votre mémoire des mois plus tard. Beaucoup reviennent année après année ici. TV, wi-fi, téléphone fixe. Apportez vos vélos, vous adorerez monter ou marcher sur la route sinueuse le long du rivage où cet endroit d'été offre la paix, la tranquillité et la beauté que votre âme aspire à un rafraîchissement.

This is a comfortable home in a wonderful location. We loved the upper level deck and kitchen space in particular. Great view and breezes. Port Clyde is great and we enjoyed the walk to everything location.

Lovely quiet location overlooking the water. House is comfortable, with well appointed kitchen. Nice location, easy walk into the port, to restaurants and lobster co-op. Cannot wait to come back!

Loved the layout of the house with the living space on the 2nd floor. The deck is fantastic, so is the fire pit area. Did a lot of walking - to the village, to Marshall Point and Drift Inn Beach. For hiking, I drove to Clark Island Preserve (gorgeous!!!), Beech Hill Preserve and Riverview Hayfields Preserve. Overall, my stay was outstanding!

Seaside Port Vlyde

Beautiful location and very relaxing. Close to the tiny fishing town with a few amenities. Easy drive to the larger towns for all other needs. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful location

We loved staying in Sunset House. The upstairs living space with a well appointed kitchen and spacious porch was so enjoyable. There are a few steps to enter the house and stairs to get from the first floor bedroom space to the second floor living space. It was a wonderful week there that we hope we will be able to return to next year.

Summer vaca at the Sunset house

We enjoyed our time here. It was comfortable, quiet and peaceful. The conveniences were nice too; dishwasher, washer/ dryer, good amount of fans and a full working kitchen for cooking.

Five Star stay!

Sunset House was everything we could have asked for and more - perfect walk to town location, outstanding views, spacious yet cozy house with room to spread out and room to gather, glorious deck and spacious back yard with fire pit and corn hole! Kitchen was charming and well supplied. We loved every minute and will definitely be back!

Beautiful home with a good view of the harbor. Well appointed and very clean. Walls framed but not closed or insulated so it got a little chilly; there’s a wood burning stove on one level. Not much happening in the harbor. Lovely outdoor deck. Comfy for 4 people. Communication with host was excellent. Would recommend!

Sunset Cottage

We enjoyed our stay. View of water was great. Unfortunately the week we stayed it was very foggy. House was very clean and well kept. Neat items (baskets, pots, pictures, books) through out the house. We liked the 2 living room areas. Great place to stay.

Cozy and great location

Within walking distance to Port Clyde general store, Monhegan ferry boat, and restaurants. Beautiful views from the deck. Plenty of comfortable seating, lots of room for entertaining although the cottage only sleeps 4. We’ve never stayed at a place which such a well equipped kitchen full of anything you might want for cooking in.
