The house was exactly as pictured and Taylor was an incredibly responsive host. We were in town for a swim meet and the ease of getting to campus and downtown while also being in a quiet setting was perfect for us. We would happily stay with Taylor again.

Our stay in Knoxville

We stayed for the weekend, and everything was perfectly set up. The house was spotless and beautifully furnished, with plenty of space for everyone. The hot tub was a wonderful addition, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. The entire home was lovely.

We stayed June 2026 and found the space clean, nicely decorated, and a great fit for our family. One bedroom is set apart from the others and feels like a retreat, but you do have to walk a bit and up some stairs to get to the bathroom. (great for teen, not for elderly parents) The house is cozy (small side), but each bedroom still feels like it has it's own special space, due to the layout. The hottub looked and smelled clean, though we weren't able to utilize it on this trip. Washer and dryer worked great. We enjoyed dinner all together in the full size dining room! Bring your own board games if you like them. Overall, it was a wonderful space and I'd definitely rent it again. Thanks, Taylor!

Charming Tennessee Cottage: A Perfect Getaway!This "cute cottage" in Tennessee exceeded our expectations! The home was exceptionally clean upon arrival and truly came stocked with lots of thoughtful amenities.The cottage is nicely decorated, giving it a warm and inviting atmosphere. We especially appreciated the convenient location, which made exploring the area easy. The kids absolutely loved the hot tub—it was a huge bonus!We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this home and look forward to staying here again.

Leaving 4 stars for this property is generous. There are SEVERAL things that other potential guests need to be aware of. The bedrooms - beds are comfortable which is a plus, none of the windows have room darkening shades, in fact one of the bedrooms has ZERO window coverings, not even a drape. Bathrooms - the water pressure in the main bathroom shower is BY FAR the worst I have ever experienced. It was barely spitting water out, definitely doesnt do the job. The temperature dial in that bathroom is terrible. There is a laundry area which was great but there isnt a door on the area so it is noisy, and right next to the TV area (one TV in the house BTW) which makes it annoying when you are trying to watch a show. Things to note about kitchen - the pantry door doesnt close - juts out into the kitchen. No ice maker or ice cube trays. No CAN OPENER or peeler. Plates are glass - something to note if you have kids. Pans were put away dirty and are very small just FYI if you are trying to cook for more than 2 people. There is a coffee maker and coffee but don't expect anything else (no salt or pepper etc). Lastly the neighborhood - we read some reviews that called it "cute and safe" - we disagree. There is one of those "quick loan" stores at the entrance to the neighborhood with many people milling about. And this morning before we left, 2 police cars pulled up at the house ACROSS THE STREET - lights on - to serve someone. Would absolutely not stay here again, especially with kids.
