Great location right next to Ventana Canyon in a quiet condo development. Pool area was nice to come back to after hiking. Close to all the outdoor activities we wanted to do, including Saguaro east & west. About 1.5 hours to Tombstone. King bed was super comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with some spices and oil. The place was very clean, and the laundry was super helpful. Great restaurant down the road was El Charro. Some of the cooking pans could use an upgrade, but our stay was great. Even got to see some Javalinas & a roadrunner out the back porch.

Retreat

Lore was a gracious host and her condominium was perfectly located for what I wanted. We were 147 steps away from the gate to the pool. We were less than 50 steps to the trail which provided wonderful opportunities to get outside and walk. The view from our screened in patio was perfect as mentioned in the property description. The weather was unusually cool and that made our morning cold water therapy plunge in the pool fantastic! The beds, bedding, linens and kitchen set up was clean and very comfortable. We had some operator challenges with the window blinds and not being able to open windows for fresh air. I see myself visiting my bestie more and I look forward to renting from Lore again. She’s professional and the management on property was great!

First trip to Tucson

We enjoyed the location and felt very safe and comfortable in this condo. The neighborhood is quiet and easy to find. We had everything we needed and the host is responsive and helpful. Great access to area hiking, and the back patio provided a beautiful and relaxing view of mountains, saguaro, desert flora, and birds.

A lovely place for escaping winter

We had 2 couples and thoroughly enjoyed our 2 weeks here. The gate to the hiking trail is right behind the condo and the pool is a short walk from the front door. The condo has a well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. The neighborhood is quiet. The host is great at responding to all questions.

Hiker Heaven and great UA parents stay

The condo is very comfy and well stocked. Great location for all you might do in Tuscon—visiting Sabino Canyon and Botanical Gardens as well as campus activities at UA. Plenty of opportunity for a daily hike right outside the door or just watch the hikers go by and enjoy the wildlife from a protected patio. Our dog loved the many birds feeding near the patio. Peaceful and relaxing.

Beautiful property

Do yourself a favor and stay here! The condo has everything you will need for a great stay and the proximity to great hiking can’t be beat. Our kids (9 and 10) also loved the pool. Communication with Lore was excellent throughout the trip.

Lovely Place to Stay

This was a lovely place to stay while visiting Tucson. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The condo was clean and well-provisioned. We loved being close to the walking trail near Ventana Canyon. There was just a momentary glitch with getting into the unit via that lock, but the owner remedied that quickly. We will certainly stay here again when we return to visit relatives.

Great host - Great location

This host was excellent with communication and was very helpful. This condo was built in the 1980's, has some wear, but is in perfect working order. The host provided all the amenities which made our stay much more comfortable than staying in a hotel. I highly recommend this host and this property for anyone wishing to be near the Catalina Mountains. If going to downtown Tucson, you can expect about 35 minute drive.

Beautiful and quiet

Nice to have the screened in porch. So fast to drive across town east to west on the high roads. and to take Tanque Verde to the east is also a beautiful drive with little traffic or traffic lights.

My husband and I stayed in the condo for the month of February. We felt very much at home. The location is perfect with easy access to a great trail. Close proximity to stores, restaurants and other hiking trails. The subdivision the condo is located in is nice as well with a good amount of long term renters. Owner was very responsive and accommodating.

The Best of the Best!!

Driving into this contemporary condo, we knew we were about to have a VRBO experience that was "extra-special"! The mountain views of the Santa Catalinas were "up close & personal", there was NO traffic noise, NO music blaring from other condos & the only sounds were birds softly chirping. Even the parking lot was immaculate. The unit was tastefully decorated in an up-to-date southwestern theme. Our host anticipated EVERY item we might need--even leaving us a "WELCOME to TUCSON" tray of snacks to savor! The world-renown Tucson resorts can't compete with the gracious atmosphere our host created. We highly urge you to visit this VRBO site--it showcases the best that Tucson has to offer; from nature's beauty to the art it inspires.

Ventana View

This is our third time staying at Ventana View but our first time renting with Lore and Mike! Not only was communication with them superb but the extra special touches they added to their condo and for our comfort made our stay feel special. We have never had such special treatment! We are already hoping we can come back next year. We thoroughly enjoyed the condo, the area and Lore!

It's the most prestigious condo community in Tucson, nestled right up to the Catalina mountains and in the upscale Catalina Foothills neighborhood. This particular community has its own private Ventana Canyon hiking trail entrance, 2 heated pools, 2 hot tubs, 2 clubhouses, a gym, tennis and pickleball court and beautiful landscaping! It's 5 minutes from shopping and Sabino Canyon, and only 20 minutes to the University. Couldn't be more perfect!

This particular home is on the north-most edge of the condo community, making it one of few that are private with direct mountain views. Most patios look onto carports, parking or other buildings- This patio faces directly north to the beautiful Catalina Mountains. The tennis court, a pool, spa and gas grill are at one of two clubhouses just across the street.
