New to the vacation rental market! This home is on Lake Martin in Alabama, an incredible fresh-water lake with over 700 miles of shoreline. We call our lake house, "Lake Martin Memories", and it might just become your new favorite lake home getaway! An easy drive from Huntsville, Birmingham, Atlanta, Auburn, Montgomery, and even the Gulf Coast! Located just minutes from Kowaliga, Real Island, and Parker Creek Marinas, this 4 bedroom lake home has everything you need for a wonderful vacation. Positioned on a 1-acre lot with 230-feet of shoreline, there's plenty of room for water vessels, auto parking, yard games, or kids hide-n-seek. Plus, it features a private boat dock with plenty of room to tie up your boat and/or jet-skis. Bring your own water vessels, or rent from Real Island Marina or Kowaliga Marina. NOTE: If you have a much larger group and need more space, this house and the two houses on either side may be able to accommodate dates for large groups like family reunions or corporate outings.

This home will sleep a total of 14 guests. There are 4 bedrooms on two levels, each having King Beds with brand new mattresses. The kids will love the "Kids Cave". It has 2 brand new queen sleeper sofas, a SmartTV, kids games, plus there are 2 twin roll-away beds with new memory foam mattresses. All sleeping areas have Smart TV's and new white noise/sound machines for those that may want to go to bed early, or sleep in late the next morning.

The screen porch with rocking chairs and cushioned furniture is the perfect place for enjoying a sunrise while sipping on a cup of fresh coffee, or dining if you choose to enjoy a meal with with a great view of the lake. The porch sitting area is fully screened with ceiling fans, and directly connected to 2 outdoor decks with a gas grill, a Weber wood pellet grill, and a KamadoJoe Ceramic BBQ grill.
Feel free to use our outside toys and games. Cornhole game is stored on the lower deck. We have two 1-person kayaks, and one 2-person kayak. There's also a giant "lily-pad" which the kids love to play on, and we have extra life jackets of varying sizes.
There are a number of great restaurants easily accessible by boat or by car, and groceries are available at Dollar General in Central, 6 miles; Piggly Wiggly in Eclectic, 8 miles; or Publix in Wetumpka and Alexander City, 15 miles.

A Perfect Family Getaway Absoloutly Beautiful

**Lake Martin Memories, where do I even begin?** This was truly one of the best vacation rentals we have ever experienced. The owners are absolutely amazing: responsive, kind, accommodating, and clearly dedicated to making sure their guests have a wonderful stay. You can tell the guest experience truly matters to them. The property itself is exceptional. It sits on a large lot with plenty of beautiful lake frontage, and the location could not be more perfect. The home was spotless, comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed for our stay. My family had the best time. The grandkids fished every day with their Papa, and the lake access was perfect. There are steps that lead right into the water, making it easy for everyone to enjoy the lake. The outdoor setup was also incredible. They provide multiple cooking options, including an Egg, smoker, and BBQ, which made family meals even more fun. We have stayed at many lake properties over the years, and this was easily the most beautiful and enjoyable one yet. Lake Martin Memories has earned a permanent spot on our family vacation list, and we will definitely be making this a yearly destination!

I loved the house. The driveway as you pulled in was bulked up and I was afraid it was gonna tear up our vehicles. The host was great. My kids weren’t fond of the very small spiral staircase to get downstairs. The house was very beautiful and clean. Amenities were great! My husband wasn’t happy he wasn’t able to use the boat lift. The waters were so choppy and our boat slammed against the pier. We had big bumpers trying to protect boat and several ropes but it didn’t help. Also the stairs from water to pier were broke. The house is not located near grocery stores or any fast food places. Although these were problems…. It’s a beautiful house, comfortable furniture, everything was clean and didn’t have to go far from house to water…. We still had a great time

Hi Dejah, we are so glad you say you loved our lake house, the decor, and the cleanliness. We're also glad to hear that you would stay here again! The small 6-foot section of driveway that is cracked is due to the roots from all the mature trees. We have that driveway repair scheduled. Labor Day weekend is one of the busiest times on the lake. That's why I encouraged you to tie, or "stretch your boat" between 2 points so it would not rub on the pier. All in all, I'm glad you all had a great holiday at Lake Martin Memories. Thank you again!

Lake Martin Memories is one of the best short-term rentals we have ever experienced. The owners are great - very responsive, kind, and accommodating. It is obvious that the guest experience is very important to them. The property is exceptional. Location is perfectly situated on a large lot with tons of lake frontage. It was very clean and comfortable. Unlike many other short-term rentals, Lake Martin Memories has new cookware and an excellent inventory of glasses, plates, and utensils - both plastic and stoneware. We spent most of our time on the screened-in porch, which was large enough for a dining section and seating section. The lake access is great as well, with steps from the front yard and the lakeside of the dock. As if this was not enough, the owners also supply multiple outdoor cooking units - an egg, smoker, and BBQ. I've stayed at many Lake Martin short-term rentals and this was easily the best.

Beautiful home with a large, flat lawn that was great for hanging out and playing volleyball in the evenings. The dock was able to accommodate our boat and jet ski. There are two bedrooms downstairs with a shared bath, two bedrooms upstairs, each with their own bathroom, and another room (kids cave) with two pullout couches that worked well for guest. One of the bedrooms was very large and spacious. Pat was wonderful to work with and promptly answered any questions. Would highly recommend staying here. You will love it.

I grew up, and later married my wife of 46 years, at my original Lake Martin home less that 1/2 mile from this home. As you might imagine, some of my best memories are right here on the lake. There's no other place like Lake Martin.

Our guests absolutely love our large, level yard. Old and young alike can easily navigate the entire 1-acre property very easily. Plus, this property is located on a portion of Lake Martin that is historically not as busy with heavy boat traffic like the "big water" areas experience. Calmer waters make for great fishing, and the perfect atmosphere for towing the kids or grandkids behind the boat.
