This is a lovely home with many little touches that show care and thoughtfulness from the bogg bags and beach wagon to the many soft coolers to take away the little frictions when you move locations for a week. We’ve rented many places in IOP over the years and this is one I’d book again without hesitation.

A Great Family Vacation

Family time near the beach

Wonderful stay! Very clean, well equipped home. Easy walk to beach! Home owner responds quickly if you have any questions. Would love to stay there again.

Sea Salt Cottage was everything the listing described and more! A beautiful house with great location so close to the beach and downtown Isle of Palms. The host was excellent with communication throughout and the information provided at the house was great for idea in the area!

The property is just a short walk to beautiful IOP beach. The house is a well appointed beachy and clean. Everything you need is provided and well thought out. We would definitely book again!

Great Location

The house was just as described. Very clean and attractive. Great location - just one block from the beach path. Easy walk. The binder of restaurants and area info was really helpful. The outdoor shower in the garage was especially helpful with two kids. We would stay here again.

Great for families with young kids

It’s rare to say that the property was even nicer than the photos but that was true with the Sea Salt Cottage. The place was great for a multi family trip, two families both with small kids. We had plenty of space, the beds were so comfortable and so many extra touches were provided. The location was more walkable than I expected and being able to walk to the beach with beach gear provided was so helpful. It was also still very easy to get to downtown Charleston. Would gladly book this place again!

Beach Vacation

My husband and I took our family for the first time to Isle of Palms and we couldn't have been happier with the house and location! A very easy, quick 5 minute walk to the beach, you don't even need to rent bikes! Everything was provided at the house -- coolers, beach chairs & towels, it was perfect. My husband and I are the type of people that like to try new vacations and different Airbnbs, but this is the first time that we want to rebook the same beach house!

Spring Break 2023

Our family stayed for 6 nights for our daughter’s spring break. Property was fabulous. Enjoyed the open floor plan and wonderful screened in porch and back deck. Close to Harris Teeter for groceries, shops, restaurants and very short walk to beach. We loved being able to play tennis and bike. Darrin was easy to communicate with and made sure all our needs were met. House is in great shape with everything being updated. We enjoyed the rock floor in the master shower. We would definitely stay here again.

Great IOP Vacation Home

We visited for a long weekend with family. We are frequent flyer renters in IOP so have had a lot of experience renting here. The home was very clean and put together and it was very helpful that the description included appliances (coffee maker Kuerig or regular, blender, etc.) to help us prepare for what we needed to bring. The owner thought of everything! Beach chairs, wagon, beach toys for kids etc. Darrin was super communicative and very helpful every step of the way. We cannot say enough good things about it overall. Walkable to IOP downtown on beach and easy beach access in neighborhood. Pool and tennis courts a plus.

Perfect beachy cottage

For our family vacation, this cottage was so perfect. We appreciated the well appointed kitchen and baths, as well as the beach equipment extras. The location in central IOP couldn't be more convenient to restaurants and shops. Oh, and the beach is less than a 5 minute walk!

Sea Salt

This house is absolutely adorable, sparkling clean and brand new inside. The kitchen was well stocked, tvs had streaming services, all rooms are tastefully decorated, washer/dryer. It’s a short walk to the beach and around the corner from groceries etc. I hope to return again soon.

Fantastic Stay at Sea Salt Cottage

We spent 5 nights at Sea Salt Cottage and wished we could stay longer. The place was absolutely immaculate, a short walk to the beach, and a short ride to the best sightseeing we’ve done in a long time.. Thank you, Darrin! We hope we can come again.

Wonderful house, fantastic location

Perfect for our family of 4, 2 college age kids. The beach chairs, wagons, etc were especially appreciated and we loved the screened porch for rainy days!

Best Stay Ever

This vacation house was BEAUTIFUL!!! We were so impressed with the attention to detail that this house had. The beachy decor is GREAT! Loved the pictures and artwork. Very clean and had all the things we needed for our beach vacation!!
