Regarding the Wi-Fi, we were not aware there was an issue during your stay and only learned about the outage after your review was posted. At that time, we confirmed with Frontier that the entire area was in the middle of a transition from DSL to fiber, which included our cabin, and they were not servicing DSL outages during that conversion period. The fiber installation was completed on 12/4/2025, and the Wi-Fi now works better than ever. While we could not have fixed the outage on-site during your visit, if we had known you were experiencing a problem at the time, we absolutely would have worked with you to lessen the inconvenience or come to an arrangement that felt fair. The toilet handle and the under-cabinet light are small maintenance items that we would have addressed right away. However, we did not receive any messages or calls about these issues, and our caretaker and customer service team have no record of contact during your stay. We truly wish we had known so we could have made your visit smoother. Given this, a 2-star rating still feels disheartening, because we genuinely want to make things right whenever possible and are always willing to respond when guests reach out. This cabin has been in my family for more than 35 years. It’s our home away from home, and we love sharing it with guests so they can enjoy the space as much as we do. It’s always hard to hear when someone leaves feeling disappointed, and I sincerely hope you might consider giving us another chance in the future. We’d love the opportunity to provide a much better experience.
