Cozy Spanish Casita w/ Mountain View in Ramona

Please read entire listing. Perfect getaway for wine lovers and hikers in this serene spanish ranch style casita with beautiful orchard & mountain views! Enjoy visiting Ramona's local wineries, hiking Mt. Woodson or Iron Mountain, swimming in the pool, stargazing, golfing, a day trip to Julian, or San Diego Wild Animal Park. The Casita has one private bedroom with a king bed and a cozy upstairs loft with a full bed located in a second room. Casita sits on top of a hill with the main house.

The space
The Casita includes Wifi, Netflix, board games, a Keurig and access to the pool and lounge chairs/towels. Please note that the pool is NOT HEATED and TOO COLD (below 63 degrees) for most guests from November through April.

Ideally the Casita is setup for 1-4 guests but if guests making the reservation are okay with having some people in their party sleep on either the comfy sectional or foldable mattress, upon request, and you don't mind that there are only 4 dining chairs in the kitchen, we are happy to accommodate up to 6 people with an additional nightly fee. The base rate is for up to 4 guests.

Guest and Early Check-in Fees:
There is an additional $25 charge per night for any extra guests over 4, with up to 6 guests maximum in the Casita. If you wish to have more than 6 guests accommodated, booking the entire Villa may better suit your needs.


We offer early check-in when possible for a fee. Please contact us the night before your arrival with your request and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
Guest access
Guest will have access to use the pool and courtyard privately during their stay.

During your stay the host or other guests may be occupying the main house. However guests staying in the main house are not permitted to use the pool area to give our guests privacy.

The landscapers come by twice a month on Tuesday around noon for about 30-60 minutes to maintain the property.

Our pool guy comes Wednesday or Thursday afternoon weekly for about 15-20 minutes to clean the filter and add any needed chemicals.

Other things to note
Our property is located in Ramona, Ca which is roughly a 35-45 minute scenic drive to San Diego depending on traffic and the specific destination in San Diego.

The guest house has two beds. One king in the downstairs bedroom and a full bed in a tiny room located upstairs in the loft area next to the living room.

The master Bedroom has a large 55" TV with an Apple TV that has Netflix and Hulu. The bedroom with a King size bed, full bathroom and kitchen are all located on the 1st floor. A spiral staircase leads to the upstairs living room loft area that has an additional TV with Netflix, a diverse DVD Collection, board games, and a large very comfortable down filled sectional and ottoman. There is a second tiny room with a bed (full size) off of the living room area upstairs that can sleep 2 additional guests. Brew a fresh cup of coffee or tea in the Keurig and enjoy the morning view on the patio.

With a variety of opportunities to capture the calm of a single moment, the tranquil town is surrounded by fields and farms, and provides an abundance of fresh air.

By day, the sky is a powder blue, sprinkled with occasional clouds and soaring birds, and framed by mountains in the distance.

At night, the sky shines bright with the clarity of the stars and the quiet hum of the whispering wind. As an unincorporated area of the county, Ramona is a scenic 45-minute drive to downtown San Diego.
