The unit was very well kept and clean. I would stay here again. The pool area and lazy river was nice. The negatives were the property doesn’t spray for mosquitoes and they were out of control. The property needs to spray. Also some of the arcade games were broken. Overall I loved the unit that we rented.

Our unit had several maintenance issues that I called in shortly after check in on Sunday. At 4:00 am, I received a message saying the reported issues would be addressed. I called again Monday afternoon and was told they would check in to the issues and get back with me. Never did. I called again Tuesday morning and Tuesday afternoon. Same story, no service. The issues in the hall bathroom were so bad, my grandkids were afraid to use it. The dishwasher wasn’t functioning, there was only scalding hot water at the kitchen sink, etc. so, while Diamond beach is lovely and we would stay there again, we would not use the same rental company.

This property is older and definitely shows its age, but it still has a lot of class, character, and appeal. However, we did experience a couple of notable maintenance issues during our stay. The biggest issue was the dishwasher—it was broken and filled with hot, stinky water, which unfortunately made the entire unit smell like stagnant water. Additionally, the balcony door was completely stuck on our first night. I tried it again the next morning, and I guess the sun warmed it up enough because I was finally able to open it. With a little more attention to maintenance, this place would be fantastic.

We enjoy staying at the Diamond Beach Condos and have done so before. This is a nice, clean unit. Minimal toiletries provided and fewer things like blankets than some other units, but the furniture is comfortable and clean. The stand out for this particular unit is the balcony which is extra large relative to other units and provided a great view.
