The Space:

Step inside Gaffney House and discover a world of refined living, where each space has been meticulously designed to offer comfort and elegance. The space's vaulted ceilings and preserved tile and brickwork accentuate the estate's historic character, complemented by sweeping views or the river from both inside and out. Large terraces extend the entire riverside length of the estate on both levels, as well as a large garden with outdoor seating, creating an ideal setting for unwinding and soaking in the natural beauty of the Ohio River. The four king bedrooms, two on each floor, are a sanctuary of tranquility, featuring plush king-sized beds, TV's, and ensuite bathrooms to provide ultimate privacy and relaxation. Both floors offer fully equipped kitchens, including a refrigerator, oven, stove, microwave, and dishwasher, allowing you to prepare gourmet meals with ease. Gather in the spacious upstairs and downstairs living rooms and dining rooms, perfect for creating lasting memories.



Guests of Gaffney House are also guests of our partner, Luxury Rentals Louisville. As such, you will be granted full access to the Louisville Thoroughbred Society Members-Only club, where you can enjoy their rare bourbon collection and tastings, cigar lounge, downtown rooftop, pari-mutuel horse and sports wagering, and more! Gaffney House offers a secluded retreat, yet remains conveniently accessible. Ample free parking is available on the premises for your convenience. For those arriving by air, Louisville International Airport (SDF) is approximately a 20-minute drive. While public transportation options are limited in this area, ride-sharing services are readily available to transport you to downtown Louisville and other attractions. Explore the city with ease, knowing your luxurious haven awaits your return.

Complimentary parking is available on-site for your convenience. Please note that Gaffney House is a non-smoking property. While we adore our furry friends, pets are not permitted. We kindly request that you treat the home with care and respect, as it is a cherished historic landmark. If you're interested in hosting an event or extra guests, please inquire in advance. Want to start your trip early or sleep in on your last morning? We’re happy to accommodate an early check-in or late checkout if arranged in advance! Our standard check-in time is 4:00pm, and our checkout time is 10:00am, but you can check-in as early as 1:00pm and out as late as 12:00pm. We charge 10% of the nightly rate per hour.
