Our overall experience was positive. Great amenities!!! Very well run by the owner. Be very aware of the parking lot attendant! 1st there is no parking near this unit. We brought quite a lot of dive gear and wasn't going to leave it in the back of our truck. When we stopped to unload we pulled past the unit and got out of the road so not to block traffic. Barney Fife from the guard tower up front was on us before we could get out or the truck. She demanded we move and was widely aggressive. We were required to drive two buildings down and lug all of our gear back to the unit. Long story short the place was great and the parking was not as well as the security.

Great spot, especially the lagoon with its groper and tarpin. House was well stocked, and appreciated having a BBQ and toys to use.The algae smells a little strong (H2S/eggy) this year all the way from Miami to Key West.

We retired and moved to the Keys 7 years ago! We spend our time either sailing around the Bahama and Florida coast, traveling around the USA with our travel trailer, hopping a flight to somewhere new or enjoying the water activities from our home here at Kawama Suntastic! So much to see and so many adventures to experience, we never sit still long! While we are away exploring, we love to share our home! We know a lot about the activities and restaurants in the Keys and always happy to provide advice and suggestions when asked!

Every time we came to Florida, we always took a side trip to the Keys! When it came time to retire, we thought why not move to where we vacation! We both fell in love with Kawama as soon as we saw the salt water lagoon, the tropical vibe, and the waterfront! It is a perfect place to live as it is in the heart of a Key Largo, centrally located to everything! The sunsets are plentiful!

Absolutely the salt water lagoon! We are STEPS from the salt water lagoon which is home to many tropical fish and makes a great place for snorkeling. This property is also located very close to the pool and chickee! It is short walk to the on property beach and rock point going out into the ocean as well! Our condo is nicely updated and completely stocked with everything g you need for your vacation. Just bring personal items and food!
