What a great place! We used it as a convenient base camp for adventures to many beautiful National Parks in the area, and it was great to come back and soak in the hot tub after hiking!

We loved our stay at this cute cabin. We had everything we needed. The fully equipped kitchen was very useful. The hot tub was wonderful after a day hiking. Proximity to day trips to Grand Canyon, Sedona & Antelope Canyon was a big plus. We had a wonderful stay

Cabin Oasis

Truly a phenomenal space to get into nature but still be near the city. The silence and trees in the distance were tranquil for the soul. The home inside is beautiful and comfortable. I really appreciated the communication from management being cordial and prompt. Overall, I’d recommend anyone to stay here! Hidden gem near Flagstaff.

4th Getaway

I love this property!!! I love setting on the back patio and looking into the forest! Relaxing with coffee and friends! We stayed here a few years ago and love coming back. It’s a great place to share with friends. Love the peaceful quiet area. And it’s great that there are two king rooms and two bathrooms. I love forward to my next visit!

Exactly as it looks and very comfortable, cozy. Quiet neighborhood, privacy appreciated. Used the hot tub every night after our daily adventures. Owner/manager was very accommodating and available via email (nothing was worth calling him about). Will plan to stay here again when in the area.

College Girlfriend's Weekend

This cozy cabin was a quiet, wooded respite for us city girls coming from Missouri, California and Colorado. Beers at the Mountainaire Tavern, just minutes away from the Pawnee cabin, kicked off the perfect long weekend! The kitchen was well stocked and although there is no formal family room, we were able to move the furniture around so we could chat late into the evening. The back deck with Adirondack chairs, dining table and hot tub were perfect for morning and evening gathering. The corn hole game has seen better days so don't plan on playing! The easy access to the highway made traveling to the Grand Canyon and Sedona a breeze. We highly recommend the Pawnee house!

Weekend in the wood

Pros: Great views - great patio - great home Cons: Neighborhood is run down. No water pressure at master bath and very little hot water at the master bath. Great place for two, if more than that, everyone is sharing the hall bath.

Nice visit

Pictures made the property look much bigger. No storage in kitchen for our groceies. House seemed cluttered. Garage bedroom had multiple spiders....bathroom TINY. Was there a living room?? Small bedroom for TV viewing. Back deck was fabulous. Very relaxing. Overall a nice visit

Michael, we want all of our guests to find the perfect vacation rental for their stay, so we take the accuracy of our listings seriously! We use local photographers to make sure our images accurately reflect the property and disclose the square footage to help you get a clear idea of the house before you book. We've also followed up with the homeowner and they would like to share the following: -There is storage available in the kitchen under the island counter, within the cabinets, and above the fridge -As the home is located in a wooded area, spiders can be prevalent in the area and occasionally enter if doors are left open. We have ongoing pest control that manages and protects the home from these issues -While one of the bedrooms was a previous addition to the home, we've recently remodeled it to give the space a comforting, refreshed feel Thank you for your insight, and we hope to have the opportunity to host you again soon!

Netflix wasn't working in one room. Furnace blower was very loud and vent is right above your head in one of the bedrooms. Cabin is nicely decorated, but sommewhat remote. Better location if you are doing things in Flagstaff as Sedona is 45 minute drive thru the mountains. Neighborhood seems kind of sketchy.

Excellent Place to Stay

We have stayed in a lot of short-term rentals. This is the first place where I have had no issues. This house is a great location and a lovely place to stay. Paper towels, Coffee pods, dishwasher tabs, washing machine tabs, and other common household items were provided. It is well-appointed with utensils and pans. The place was very clean and comfortable. The fireplace in the kitchen-dining-living area was quite nice on cold February mornings. We enjoyed sitting in the chairs on the back deck viewing the night sky which was absolutely stunning. The hot tub was HOT the way it should be. I say this only because we always stay in houses with hot tubs and so many other properties keep them at a low temperature.It is approximately 30 minutes from Sedona hiking, but also closer to Walnut Canyon, Sunrise Volcano, West Fork, and other great areas around Flagstaff. This was our first visit to Arizona. The Flagstaff area is better for hiking in my opinion. Sedona is way too crowded. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, but just 10 minutes or so north is Flagstaff. In-N-Out Burger and Los Altenos and other restaurants are a short drive away. Target and Safeway grocery stores are in the same area as those restaurants. It was nice to stay outside of crowded Sedona.

Perfect place for our family of 4

There was plenty of room for our family never felt crowded. The cabin felt very welcoming, couches and beds were super comfortable and had plenty extra amenities that were much appreciated. Great location for Flagstaff, Williams and Sedona. We especially loved the oversized hot tub. We are all excited to stay here again!!

Perfect Getaway for Some Peace and Quiet

Spent 5 nights and we could not have been more pleased with our choice of location and the property. Perfectly located distance from Sedona (drive down 89A), Grand Canyon (drive up 180) and the town of Flagstaff itself (beautiful little downtown). The house was clean, well furnished and most of all private and VERY quiet while still within a neighborhood. We had a small glitch with the hot tub during our stay but the owner was very responsive and had things corrected in a timely manner via the service company. We DEFINITELY have this location marked as a place to return to, and we cannot say that very often. Many thanks to the owners for making this trip a worry free escape to the mountains of AZ.
