1) There is free parking available in a gravel lot on the right-hand corner of Elm Street and Gate City Blvd, just past the traffic light.

2) I’ve often parked along the street right in front of the apartment building. If you don’t see open parking at first, loop around the block, cars come and go frequently.
***Although the signs indicate a 2-hour limit, I’ve personally parked there for several hours on many occasions without receiving a ticket. Of course, I can’t guarantee enforcement won’t happen, but it hasn’t been an issue in my experience.

3) Greene Street Parking Desk, 3 minutes up the street.

This public city parking deck is across the street from the Biltmore Hotel closest deck to City Hall, Triad Stage, Elm Street shopping restaurants and more nightlife. Entrance into deck from S. Greene Street and W. Washington Street. Monday-Friday: First hour is free | $1 per hour, maximum daily rate of $10. | Free 6-9 pm. | After 9 pm, flat rate of $2. Free parking all day on weekends and City-observed holidays
