Wonderful little retreat. The property was delightful and private. We had a great time. Check in was easy and smooth. The cabin was clean as was the outside areas. The outdoor bath is fantastic. Great place to stay. We'll be back.

What a rare find, truly glamping in the best sense. We enjoyed the fire pit within a pristine forest with the sights and sounds of nature surrounding us. Soaking in the very private outdoor tub was delicious. The outdoor grill makes food prep easy. There is a green singletrack bike ride along the lake that is one of the most enjoyable that I’ve been on. There is lots to explore in the national forest. It helps to have extra bedding for comfort. If you love camping and comfort, this is it!!!

The house was nice, it’s a good little get away for some friend on a trip, was well kept and clean, lots of places to sit and enjoy your surroundings. We came down for a week long trip to go hiking and swimming and this place was perfect for our needs, Kit was very friendly and welcoming he didn’t bother us at all but the few conversations we had were very pleasant. The hottub isn’t a standard hottub but was still very nice after a long hike, the water is a little finicky it was either way to hot or freezing but you could get it right most times to be the perfect temp for a nice shower. Loved this little cabin will definitely book again if we’re in town on a trip.

The bathroom contained only a composting toilet and the outdoor tub was out of order. Neither of these things were curly comminacted and both would have prevented us from staying.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time staying here for our anniversary! Kit, the host, was very friendly during the tour he gave us. We immediately felt welcomed. The cabin was beautiful and I especially loved the deck. There was plenty of bedding, cookware, and grilling utensils. There was also a lot of firewood. The outdoor tub was excellent. It’s very spacious and peaceful. It is also built in a way that ensures decent privacy while still having a beautiful site. The water needs some time to cool down, but once it does it it really nice. With it being in the woods, there were some bugs flying around. just a heads up if you are wanting to use it. I would still recommend it!I do think photos of the toilet should be in the listing. It is a compostable toilet and unfortunately had some odor. There was air freshener provided, which was appreciated. Overall, our first vacation together here was memorable and we are happy to have spent it here! :) Thank you for providing this experience.
