Cabin on 7 Acres with a Pond! In charming Ben Wheeler. Near-Canton-Tyler
Nestled in nature, this rustic yet elegant cabin offers serenity and charm. Relax on the porch to the gentle sound of wind chimes, fish in the stocked pond, or watch the wildlife inhabit the land. Evenings invite you to gather under twinkle lights, sharing stories around the fire. Inside, cozy nooks, board games, and music create space for simple joys, while rain on the tin roof soothes the spirit and slows time. Perfect for families, couples, or solo travelers seeking a peaceful retreat.
Just a few files from Edom and Ben Wheeler, two neighboring gems that shine with small-town charm, artistry and community spirit.
Edom is known as an artists’ enclave, where galleries, pottery studios, and eclectic shops line its main street. Visitors wander from one studio to the next, discovering handcrafted treasures, colorful gardens, and the town’s signature art festivals. Live music and good food round out the creative vibe, making Edom a favorite stop for those who enjoy culture wrapped in country charm.
Just down the road, Ben Wheeler blends history with a lively, hometown revival. Once a quiet farming community, it has re-emerged as a hub for live music, funky shops, and local eats. Annual events like the Feral Hog Festival and community gatherings bring folks together, while spots like The Forge or Moore’s Store offer a taste of authentic Texas hospitality.
Together, Edom and Ben Wheeler capture the heart of East Texas — where creativity meets tradition, and visitors feel like neighbors.
NOTE: Our Cabin is set in a natural, mixed wooded and grassland type environment, insects and wildlife are part of the experience, especially during seasonal changes, warmer weather and evening hours. Lights in and around the cabin can attract insects at night and into the cabin if doors or windows are left open. Nighttime visitors are also very likely if food or trash is left out. We encourage guests dress appropriately, use bug repellent, and keep doors and windows closed when needed. Trash and food should be kept inside or in the bins provided outside. .
