2478 Shipwatch-Ocean Front 2-bedroom villa with Beach front access

Step into a custom, fully renovated, coastal-modern oasis in Shipwatch Villas, West Beach. You will feel like you are staying in a luxury hotel with all of the amenities of a villa. This fourth floor (top floor-elevator access) end unit provides total privacy steps away from the ocean. Enjoy, 3 balconies, one from each bedroom and a larger balcony off the living room. The exterior and interior of the unit were completely redone in 2023, including new concrete porch floors, railing and all new interior design elements. The open kitchen and living room allows for easy entertaining and enjoying the ocean breeze through the two sliding doors that open onto porches. Custom cabinetry and all Viking appliances grace the gourmet kitchen with a large island for eating with a custom built-in banquette. The master suite has a lovely private porch for enjoying morning coffee in your pajamas. The elegant, attached bathroom has a large walk-in shower, a soaking tub, and a private toilet room. The secondary bedroom has another private porch and a bathroom a few steps down the hallway with a beautiful tiled walk-in shower. Closets in both bedrooms are customized. The villa is in an oceanfront property that has a private boardwalk which is the gateway to the pristine beach in literally 150 steps. An easy stroll to get a cocktail or extra sunscreen. A truly remarkable and unique property to enjoy a stellar, beachside escape! An ideal property for four people!

This villa is located in West Beach and across the street from the Kiawah Island Conference Center and Cougar Point Golf Club. Guests have access to all dining on island, golf, and tennis. We do not have resort pool access. The unit doesn’t provide beach towels, beach chairs, or beach equipment. Beach equipment rental information is available.

Wow! This was our first time to Kiawah Island and our time there was absolutely perfect. The condo was stunning. Pictures in the listing do not do this unit justice. Everything we could have wanted was there. The location was superb and the island is simply breathtaking. This will be the first of many trips to Kiawah and this is the place we will stay!

This property is absolutely beautiful - exactly as pictured online. The building is very quiet and peaceful, and right on the beach. Location is perfect for enjoying the beach and shady bike paths while also being very close to the grocery store and other shops. We hope to return on future trips!

Amazing property

"Our Slice of Heaven" really lived up to it's name! The attention to detail and thoughtful amenities is unmatched. The entire condo was spotlessly clean! The beautiful kitchen with high end appliances was well stocked and made cooking a delight. The bathrooms were spa quality and the beds were amazingly comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and being able to see the ocean. The condo really is just steps away from the beach! The owner was very easy to communicate with and was very helpful with recommendations or questions. Great location. Will definitely return! Thank you, Tatum!

Breathtakingly gorgeous and extraordinarily clean. Friendly and responsive owner too! Our stay truly exceeded expectations! This unit with modern decor is clearly not only cleaned regularly but deep cleaned. Bedrooms are beautiful and comfortable and bathrooms are clean and high-end. Kitchen is well-equipped, dining space is generous, and living space is bright, inviting and modern. Washer and dryer are super convenient. Balconies offer comfort and oneness with nature and even a sneak view of the ocean! Can see and hear the waves from the north-facing balcony. Plus, boardwalk is right off the building's elevator for quick beach access. This was our 26th trip to SC - of which 15th trip to Kiawah. We've stayed in many highly rated units in Kiawah but this one is truly tops! What a memorable and enjoyable stay! We loved every minute.Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Beautiful stay in Kiawah

Please do not miss out on this luxe property by the water! Every inch, every detail was carefully curated in this home as it had everything we needed and more. By day 3, we were discovering options we didn't know we had in the home! I won't spoil the fun and surprises but take your time here; this place is worth the stay!Take advantage of the balcony, the tub, the beach walkup seconds away from your rooms.... not sure it could've been better!

Amazing weekend stay

We loved this fully updated Kiawah condo! My family and I have been to Kiawah several times, and this is one of my favorite rentals yet. The kitchen was beautiful and had everything we needed to make a great dinner. The multiple patios with great seating options are perfect for enjoying the view and sound of the ocean. Beach access was super easy and there’s a private boardwalk for the building. The bathrooms and bedrooms were so nice and modern, and beds were super comfy. We will absolutely stay again!

Perfection

We were looking for a last minute mini vacation and I am so glad that I found this place. The location is great and the place is amazing. It is clean and has everything that you need to relax and enjoy. The beach was wonderful, easily accessible and not busy. We absolutely loved it and will stay here again.

PERFECTION with a capital “P”!

I stayed at this villa for 5 nights with family. It could not have been more perfect. It was so spotless that I wondered if I were the first person to ever stay there (my sister said the same thing). The villa is on the beach and on the bike trails. I am not a golfer so I spent my days biking or at the beach. Freshfields is an easy bike ride to restaurants and a grocery store. The villa has necessary kitchenware and basic supplies. To be honest, this villa was perfection. The owner or property manager has anticipated your every need. I have rented many properties on VRBO and this ranks at the very top of my list of favorites.

Perfection

This property is nothing short of perfection! The owner is wonderful! The communication was exceptional. From the moment you step into the condo, you can feel the attention and care given to every last detail. The beds are comfortable, the master bath is stunning, the kitchen is appointed with everything you need. Enjoy morning coffee on the gorgeous balcony off the living room.
