Welcome to this brilliant 1-bedroom Old Man Bay retreat. This adorable apartment features a cozy living room with a sofa bed, perfect for extra guests. During the excavation phase of construction, the team made a surprising discovery: the bones of several caimans buried beneath the site. This unexpected piece of natural history became the inspiration for Caiman’s Den, giving the apartment a personality rooted in the land itself. The name honors the wildlife that once roamed the area while giving the space a sense of mystery and character. Today, Caiman’s Den stands as a stylish, comfortable retreat with a unique backstory.

We had an Amazing Stay! The accommodations were very clean and newly renovated. Corleen, the host was excellent and guided on what to see and do on Grand Cayman. Would highly recommend these accommodations.

Facilities were exactly as described and shown in photos. Very clean, fresh, new, and well stocked. Perfect size for a couple. Corlene was an excellent hostess. Walking distance to Crystal Caves, which are definitely worth seeing. Quiet area. Short drive to Starfish Point and Parrot Sanctuary. 3 decent restaurants also short drives - Tukka, Over the Edge and Italian Kitchen. Good facilities for cooking

Caiman's Den is newly built, beautifully laid out, organized, clean and well furnished. The shower was delightful. The beds are comfortable. We particularly enjoyed sitting on the front and back covered patios - one, or both is out of the sun during the day, and almost always had a breeze. (You can hear the ocean surf from the front patio.) Carlene has also done a beautiful job with the landscaping and plantings. Overall, the property is lovely; We enjoyed our time outside as much as the apartment. The kitchen has all new appliances, and is well stocked with cookware, basic spices and oil. Since the air conditioning is central air, it is VERY quiet and effective. We didn't have to think about the apartment temperature at all - it was just comfortable.Carlene is quick to respond to questions. You couldn't ask for a better host.We loved our time at Caiman's Den in Old Man Bay, and would go back immediately, if we could!

This seems to be a newer listing, but it’s clear that Corleen is experienced at hosting (and will likely earn a 'premier host' rating). The home was thoughtfully stocked, including bug spray, sunscreen, drinks, chocolates, and a rum cake, which was a really nice touch.Rum Point is the closest beach with amenities (about a 10 minute drive) and is absolutely beautiful, with great views, drinks/food, a pier, etc. Starfish Point is right next to Rum Point too. The caves attraction is also nearby the condo and is also a fun and convenient attraction worth visiting.The bed was very comfortable, the shower was beautiful, and the kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. Parking was easy, the property was simple to find, and both check-in and check-out were quick and hassle-free.You will need a car, as the property is on the opposite side of the island from the airport, but the area itself is quiet, peaceful, and relaxing.We had three adults during our stay—two in the bedroom and one on the pull-out couch, which was already made up with sheets and ready upon arrival. Overall, a great stay and a place we would happily recommend.
