Mixed experience — amazing view, but several comfort issuesQuite a few drawbacks: the garage only fits a small compact car — our SUV was too long, so we had to unload/load on the street (which is very difficult to find parking) and leave the garage open. The garage light is also broken, making it challenging to back in at night.there was an unpleasant odor inside the bungalow (similar to a college dorm), and the couch feels worn and overly soft. The pillows were extremely flat — I was essentially sleeping directly on the mattress unless you stack 2 pillows together. Bathroom light kept flickering and even changed from white to yellow, which was distracting (vecna vibe, IYKYK). There’s only one bathroom, and it’s quite tight for even two people getting ready.few amenities were missing/underwhelming: no coffee provided despite having a coffee maker, no luggage rack, no Kleenex, and onr Bedroom's outlets were awkwardly placed behind the bed, making charging devices inconvenient.

Great location. It is quiet and does not have all the tourists. The front window looks like the one in the photo. It has a garage that is small and you have to manually open the garage. There is a washer and dryer that is in the garage. You cannot access the garage directly from your unit. Kitchen has lots of utensils for eating or cooking. It has a drip coffee maker--no Keurig. I would have liked a broom or vacuum in the unit to clean the floors. Nice place and the rental team responds fast.

Good location, weird entrance to the property the only good thing about the property is the view other than that very normal or below average apartment. Bathroom was not cleaned properly trash has been setting there from the renters before. Not sure if they cleaned the blankets. No entertainments on the TV. Host was informative on the location and the rules. Gate was not closed no pin code was required. Very close to other buildings. Over all experience is 3 out of 5. I would rather go somewhere else and feel very clean.

I was honestly underwhelmed by this property, despite its great location and view. It’s not kid-friendly at all—I traveled with my 1-year-old and had to carry her around the entire time because the floors didn’t feel clean and the carpets had a noticeable odor. The house clearly needs some love and upkeep. The bathroom looked dated and wasn’t cleaned thoroughly. The garage is also very tight—we couldn’t fit our car in, which made parking a real headache. Most nearby street spots were already taken by other residents, and one night we spent over 30 minutes just trying to find a place to park. It was incredibly frustrating. The outdoor stairway leading to the rocky beach area was dirty and felt unsafe, especially with a baby in tow. Overall, this might work for a quick overnight stay, but I wouldn’t recommend it for a longer visit. Definitely not worth the price.

Except the view of the ocean there's nothing going for this property.. broken walls.. broken blinds .. dirty carpets .. dead cockroaches, not at all what I expected This place needs real upkeep ..

Great location!

And absolutely stunning view. I could have watched the waves all day. I did report a couple of issues, and the management company promptly responded. However they entered the apartment while we were gone without any notification. I hope they get the electrical problems fixed, the lights flickered constantly which could be a problem for some people.

Mixed Bag

If you are only concerned about an incredible view - this is the place for you. This is unquestionably a spectacular view (you can't be any closer without actually being in the ocean). However, we had issues. First, the garage key was not in the lockbox - which was didn't matter since our Chevy Malibu was too long to fit. I hadn't noticed in the listing that there is no AC. This is important when you book in the summer (especially during a heatwave) but that was my fault for not checking. When we arrived, it felt like it was 90 degrees inside. The blinds were all open (I am sure to showcase the view but this also allowed the sun to heat up the place). We opened the windows, only to find that many of them did not have functional locks. This is a first floor unit... We also noticed that the unit needed some serious deep cleaning/maintenance. For example, there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom, allowing black mold in the shower and by the window. The management company said they could not get someone out until the next day. One window had a screw that was put in place to keep it closed (though unsuccessfully). This was clearly a known problem. It is irresponsible to knowingly rent the unit in that condition. They asked if we could run to a hardware store to get wooden dowels as a temporary fix (which my husband did). They were able to send someone that night, but the fix was PCV piping cut like the dowels. We also killed a LARGE cockroach each night of our stay.

Overall Stay Great

We loved the location and property. We were disappointed with the neighbors. Not so sure what side of the building but they were loud. One morning fighting at 6:30 a.m. and the singing at the top of his lungs with a guitar. Then one evening/morning 1:00 or so loud with their antic that we had to sleep on the couches and close all the windows. The one other early morning with a loud stereo and tv. I usually can sleep through anything, but not these two.

Terrible customer service

It started out poorly with two issues: we arrive after traveling all day and there is NO bath soap to wash with! No body soap anywhere. There is also NO street parking. Bring a small car to fit in the tight garage. We had a larger Kia and had to manage to squeeze in several times a day; it was a nightmare. Called CS about no soap, they just gave an excuse for the house cleaner. They only left 2 towels, washcloths . I had to wash them and the dryer didn’t work ! Had to hang towels and clothing all over the house. Called customer service again. They said they’d sent someone out . 4 days later someone came and said he’d bring the part for dryer in three days..he never came back. We counted on that and now had to wear dirty clothes home. The oven didn’t work properly ; stayed on Pre-heat forever..no broom to keep floors clean had to ask them to bring one . (They did bring clean towels but didn’t tell us and we just happened to find them 2 days later in a cabinet that was formerly empty .) The bathroom shower curtain and window had mold around it. So, with the exception of the great view and the living/ dining rooms being nice it was not a good place to stay. For the price we expected better attention to detail, better customer service and truthfulness about the parking situation.

Beautiful view but glitches

We arrived 10 pm to find the 10-digit code did not open the door. We also had a code for the lock box which held a key. The lockbox was hanging open and empty. After standing a cold 1/2 hour on the phone with Vacasa, we were finally given a 4-digit code that worked. Next morning Vacasa called saying the door code must be changed back to 10-digits. I protested but was assured it would work this time. I tested it while still on the phone and it seemed to work. (I realized later that the door hadn’t been locked.) When we went out, we tried the new code to make sure we could get back inside. Guess what? It didn’t work! Another half hour on the phone with Vacasa giving us various 10-digit codes. My daughter saw a light flash on the door keypad after 4 digits so we were sure it would only accept 4. Finally they gave us another 4-digit code. Guess what? It worked! The agent also kept saying there was a key in the lockbox even though we’d said repeatedly the lockbox was broken. And it didn’t stop there 
 next day when we went out, the door wouldn’t lock behind us! Again, another 1/2 hour on the phone with Vacasa! They finally said they would sent someone out but couldn’t say when. My daughter figured out that if you turn the deadbolt to the right and the door handle to the left and pull, the door would lock! I would have had a total meltdown without her. View stunning. Furniture good except one side of one bed completely saggy. Toilet paper ran out quickly and no extra rolls!

San Diego Quick Trip

Visiting our daughter and didn't want to stay with her in her 1 bedroom apt! Brought a family friend so decided on this option versus a hotel. Family came by, hang out, cooked, enjoyed large tv streaming, ocean view to die for, surfers at low tide, and our favorite friendly SEAGULL who visited every morning for a bite of breakfast. AWESOME VISIT! Will definitely stay again if it's available!!

Ideal getaway

This property is absolutely perfect and the view is spectacular! Location is perfect, floor plan is perfect, shower water temperature is perfect, comfort is perfect, not a single detail has been overlooked. Our family had the perfect weekend getaway. Management was very responsive with questions. Check in and check out was easy. I’m grateful to have made such great family memories here and we’ll definitely book here again!
