We are seasoned service industry professionals committed to providing you with the best experience. Combined, we have over 30 years of hospitality experience! She's worked in various roles with the Hyatt Regency, mostly serving guests in their fine dining restaurants.... fun fact: she had the honor to serve Margaret Thatcher and her entourage. Doug worked as a restaurant manager in the service industry for 10 years. His ability to identify and address guests' needs is invaluable when it comes to maximizing the guests' experience and comfort. Our goal is to exceed your every expectation by providing a first-class stay, providing every amenity you can possibly need to allow you to sit back, enjoy your stay, and leave the details to us. We have been fortunate enough to travel extensively and have stayed in STR in several different countries, and it is our commitment to use our hospitality history and travel experience to make our Dream Beach Cottage a destination you visit again and again! If you want to park your car at the beach and enjoy all that Mission Beach offers, including bikes, boogie boards, chairs, toys, umbrellas, beach games, and even a cooler, this is your home. Walking distance to several restaurants, including everything that Belmont Park has to offer (4-minute walk), then this is it. If you want to play volleyball on the beach and enjoy the crashing ocean waves on a much less crowded beach than most others, then this is it. If you want to stroll about 4 minutes to the east, you can enjoy the much milder surf on the bay side beach, which is great for little ones. Spend the day riding the boardwalk on 1 of the 4 bike cruisers that are offered, or just sitting out front on the "sunny side of the court" on your private patio, that works too.
