We had a great stay at the South Mission Beach Gem over New Years. The space was perfect for our family of 4 with room to spare. Doug was quick to respond to all of our inquiries, even when we had some late-night questions during our original check-in. I would recommend this rental and would look to stay here again if we return to San Diego for another visit.

Beach getaway

My family and I stayed here and were very pleased with the house and the location. Mission beach has something for everyone, so my teenager and little one were both happy. The garage is a little tight to get into, but we managed, even with our minivan. Hosts were quick to reply to our messages/concerns, and very polite. They even let us check out late when we were running behind. We were there for July 4 - fun, but maybe would have booked before or after. Would definitely recommend, both to families and beyond.

The Perfect Beach Getaway: Clean, Comfy, and Close to It All!

We had such a wonderful stay at this charming Mission Beach home! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how spotlessly clean and thoughtfully stocked everything was. The kitchen had absolutely everything we could have hoped for! Amazing ice machine and blender for margaritas!One unexpected highlight: the amazing soaking bathtub. I normally wouldn’t dream of taking a bath at a rental, but this one was so pristine and inviting that I couldn’t resist — it was a perfect way to unwind after the beach.Speaking of the beach — it’s just a short stroll away! We loved how easy it was to grab the bikes and cruise around the area. The outdoor patio was another favorite spot for morning coffee and evening relaxation.On top of it all, communication with the host was excellent — friendly, responsive, and helpful from start to finish. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-located getaway in Mission Beach!

Great stay in a very well appointed beach house! My family of four really enjoyed staying steps to the beach or bay. The home was clean and beautiful with everything one needs for a luxurious week at the beach. The garage held lots of beach toys, chairs, bikes - ready for us to use. We walked easily to Belmont Park, restaurants, markets, and coffee. The home was quiet and felt safe. Shawn was very easy to communicate with and made us feel very welcome. Will stay here again!

If you want to park your car at the beach and enjoy all that Mission Beach offers, including bikes, boogie boards, chairs, toys, umbrellas, beach games, and even a cooler, this is your home. Walking distance to several restaurants, including everything that Belmont Park has to offer (4-minute walk), then this is it. If you want to play volleyball on the beach and enjoy the crashing ocean waves on a much less crowded beach than most others, then this is it. If you want to stroll about 4 minutes to the east, you can enjoy the much milder surf on the bay side beach, which is great for little ones. Spend the day riding the boardwalk on 1 of the 4 bike cruisers that are offered, or just sitting out front on the "sunny side of the court" on your private patio, which works too. Whatever you want to do or not do, this is the home for you. We look forward to caring for your every need in a beautiful, updated, CLEAN home..... Thanks for choosing Devon Ct.

Seasoned Mission Beach travelers will tell you South Mission Beach is the best location because it's quiet and safe. Devon Court is one of the most beautiful and well-cared-for Courts in all of Mission Beach. Year-round owners occupy most homes, so this is not a party court, nor are parties allowed or tolerated. We've taken great pride in preparing a luxurious rental property, creating a seamless check-in & check-out system, and providing the best amenities to ensure lifelong beach memories.
