Come and enjoy the perfect family vacation in this newly remodeled three-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bath home in a sought-after Carlsbad Village location less than 100 steps to the seawall and sandy beach with lifeguards on duty during beach days. All within a short walk to restaurants, shopping, and the train station, should you want to adventure to a ballgame or explore the Gas Light district in downtown San Diego. This centrally air-conditioned luxury home has ample space for your family to spread out and enjoy their vacation. Enjoy other features like a living area with a flatscreen TV, a fully equipped kitchen and dining area, and hardwood floors throughout. For your convenience, the home has a laundry area, complimentary high-speed WiFi, a guest desktop computer, beach equipment, and more! You'll enjoy spending as much time indoors as outdoors with a front deck patio facing the ocean for viewing spectacular sunsets and a back patio with a large table, eight chairs, lounges, and a gas barbecue surrounded by beautiful landscaping. Great property. Very roomy and comfortable. I stayed with my sisters and two of our childhood neighbors. Six adults. Plenty of beach chairs and even sand umbrellas! I will definitely come back.

Lovely beach stay

Location was amazing - so close to the beach and very walkable to Carlsbad Village. Large house with plenty of room! Nice patio with grill. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Great place steps from the beach

This is the perfect beach home for a family looking for plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the convenience of being able to walk to the beach, restaurants, and shopping without one once of sweat. Highly recommend.....

Carlsbad Gem

This house is fabulous. Great location, extremely comfortable, updated, well stocked kitchen. One minute walk to the beach, many restaurants within 15 min walk, wonderful backyard patio and deck over the garage for views of the sunset. Would not hesitate to rent this house again.

Perfect Property

This property had everything we needed. Three houses away from the beach and a 5 min walk to all restaurants. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. They also had a bunch of beach toys to bring down to the beach.

Fantastic, perfect for our 50th anniversary celebration!

Check-in was easy, the house welcoming, roomy, has plenty of chairs and tables-in and outdoors, and everything we could want for cooking. It truly couldn’t have been better! The weather was the only negative for us-mostly cloudy with some rain, but there was plenty of room for all of us to lounge around and feel at home.

Wonderful home in a perfect location

We love this home! Lots of space, fun layout, great kitchen, nicely updated/decorated, four nice bathrooms, outdoor shower, garage, patio with ocean view, tons of windows for ocean breezes, nice backyard with a grill, beach chairs/towels/umbrellas... everything you need! It is truly a home away from home. Location is perfect - less than a block from the stairs to the beach and a short, easy walk to the village. We were literally sad to leave. Highly recommend.

Fantastic location, house and property management

We had four adults and two children and more then enough room during our stay. The house is really fantastic and the location cannot be beat. Walking distance to the beach and to Carlsbad Village. The AC wasn't working when we arrived, but property management team was on it and had portable AC units and then had the AC fixed as soon as possible (within 2 days). We are planning to book again next year!

Beautiful property

Everything here was perfect except the master bedroom. The bed was very uncomfortable and there was only lightweight curtains on the window making the mornings very bright.

Perfect location, beautiful home!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location of this property is perfect for beaching, dining and shopping! The house is spacious and the kitchen was better equipped than my own! The only disappointment was the lack of a king size bed. The listing of bed sizes is inaccurate on VRBO and that was a huge problem for my guests. Should be corrected.

Beautiful home with all the amenities

This home is recently renovated and no detail has been spared. The house is beautifully done. Very comfortable beds, well equipped (and huge!) kitchen, beach supplies, and proximity to the beach and village was appreciated. I would have enjoyed some movie channels or access to Netflix so I will remember to bring some dvds next time. The managing reality was very helpful and responsive. We had a lovely time with my elderly parents and sisters family. In all, 8 of us fit very comfortably.

Spacious, comfortable home by the beach

Location is very convenient to the beach, though you have to cross a fairly busy street. Also easy to walk downtown to shops, restaurants, and the train station. The home was beautiful and well appointed. The pictures do not do it justice. Really enjoyed the private backyard patio and oceanview deck. Home is very spacious for a large family and had comfortable beds. Each bedroom has a private bathroom, which was nice. There was a problem with one shower during our stay; however, the management company was quite responsive and resolved the problem. We would return and would recommend the property!

A dream beach holiday!!

This was a perfect vacation for my husband and me, and also for our son and friends who came to visit us. It has three generously sized bedrooms, a gourmet kitchen, great outdoor space and lots of cozy places to relax and hang out. Carlsbad is a wonderful little beach town with the prettiest beach, and our house was just 90 steps away from the sand (I counted one morning) and a few minutes walk into town for coffee, shopping or dinner and drinks. We could see the ocean from our bedroom and from the outside deck, and at night the waves lulled us to sleep. The owners could not have been nicer to deal with, and thought of everything. The house is perfectly equipped, tastefully furnished and comfortable. It was as if we were staying at the home of our best friends! I can give this home my very highest recommendation.

This is our new summer house

We loved our stay here! Pros - *location, 3 bedrooms with a bathroom in each room, the kitchen!!!, the neighbors, just perfect. The property manager Greg was so responsive & kind! The kitchen has plenty of supplies for cooking and making drinks Need a spot to put something - plenty of cabinet space Water pressure is great. Instant hot water Central AC - works excellent. The light grey paint throughout is much better than the photos of the red. Outdoor shower & place to rinse your sandy feet out front Tons of places to curl up by a window and read a book Beach equipment included - boogie boards, chairs, shovel for sandcastles or digging for sand crabs Master bath - 2 shower heads.Power strip cords to plug in alllll the things by beds - so needed. Cons - The beds and pillows. honestly — terrible. The front door - the instructions for how to open the door are horrible.No spices, no condiments - if you are going to cook you will need to buy everything. Even pepper. Lack of tvs throughout - there is only 2. Living room and large 2 bedroom with 2 beds.

Overall really great place

Overall all was great. I would definitely recommend. But giving 4 stars because there are some really easy things that can be done that would make this a five star property: 1. WiFi was next to useless. Had to use cell phone data plan as wireless could not handle basic web surfing 2. Great sizable bedrooms, but shocking no king beds. The master at least should be a king bed not a queen. 3. Basic needs like trash bags, paper towel, soap, etc was available but only super limited quantities. I feel like this owner can turn all 4 star reviews into 5 star, and raise price $50-$100 per night, and easily cover the cost of fixing the above items. These are so easy to fix. All that said, I still recommend and would definitely stay again.
