Mountain Cabin Retreat Avec Vue imprenable

Maison de montagne confortable et décorée avec goût, situé à seulement 1,5 heures d'Asheville, à deux heures d'Atlanta et de Greenville SC, et à 3 heures de Charlotte NC.

Cette cabine est à quelques minutes de la randonnée sur les sentiers des Appalaches et Bartram, avec des vues à couper le souffle du sud des montagnes Blue Ridge en Caroline du Nord et GA.

Cette cabine dispose de vĂ©randas habitables, d’un immense pont arriĂšre, de deux baignoires sur pattes pour laisser tremper Ă  la porte, d’un bain Ă  remous pour 4 adultes et d’une douche extĂ©rieure. (disponible de mars Ă  octobre) Les activitĂ©s Ă  proximitĂ© comprennent la randonnĂ©e, les antiquitĂ©s, les cascades, le golf, la pagaie, la natation (dans le nouveau parc aquatique du comtĂ© de Macon); repas et divertissement au Centre des arts de la scĂšne de Smokey Mountain. Pour les courts excursions d'une journĂ©e visiter Highlands, Dillsboro, Sylva et caissiers. Le parc national de Great Smokey Mountain est Ă  seulement 45 minutes. Deux nouvelles brasseries Ă  Franklin sont si pratiques aprĂšs une randonnĂ©e, pagaie ou antiquitĂ©s. Lazy Hiker et Currahee Brewing Company sont deux excellents choix. Nous vous suggĂ©rons d'essayer les deux !!!

La chambre principale dispose d'un lit king size, et un lit de jour de l'enfant, avec des portes françaises qui se ouvrent à une véranda et la vue. La deuxiÚme chambre a un lit queen, et la troisiÚme chambre en mezzanine, un lit double.

Il y a une belle cheminée à bois dans la salle familiale, une cuisine entiÚrement équipée et une grande table de ferme dans la salle à manger. Le pont du salon a une table à manger avec 4 chaises (agréable pour profiter de la vue).

The cabin was well appointed and has lovely views of the mountains. The sunrises were spectacular. We enjoyed the amenities and the privacy. It was very relaxing and peaceful which is exactly what we were looking for. I would recommend this rental.

Peacful and relaxing place to stay

The hosts were amazing and the property was absolutely beautiful. You are close to town but have a private setting as well as close to picturesque hiking areas. Wonferful stay!

Peaceful getaway

Everything was as listed. The home was clean, beds were comfortable, hot tub worked as it should. This was a birthday/spring break getaway from the usual spots and I enjoyed every moment of it. We didn't even turn the TV on our whole stay. Just enjoyed the views, hot tub, and done some cooking out. I was nervous about the gravel drive but my little Honda had no issues getting to the cabin. Will definitely be back!

Oh My Gosh, the view !

We stayed a week at this cozy cabin outside of Otto, NC for the Christmas holiday. It was so quiet and relaxing - wish we could have stayed longer to explore the area. We still managed to do three hikes - Mud Creek Trail, Bartram Trail: Wallace Branch to William's Pulpit and Greenway Trail in Franklin. The cabin is equipped with everything you need - loved the decor. We met some friends for brunch at The Crown Restaurant in Brasstown on Saturday - they also serve dinner in the evening - highly recommend for a meal out. We prepared all the rest of our meals at the cabin. The beds were so comfortable - slept like a rock. The view from the deck was amazing - could spend hours looking at it. Thank you, Ed & Brenda, for sharing your lovely cabin with us. It was always be a fond memory.

Private & Serene Getaway!!!

This is an older, rustic, well kept, charming property with million dollar views. The outdoor shower, his and hers outdoor soaking tubs, and jetted hot tub offer unique, relaxing experiences with an awesome view! It has a well loved, homey and relaxing atmosphere. Nestled in the mountains with woods all around, it feels very quiet and serene. We highly recommend it and plan on returning this spring! Alan J. & Elizabeth K.

Relaxing vacation

This cabin is exactly as described. We planned on a relaxing weekend, and got that with this property. Some better supplies would be appreciated, such as more towels and soap/shampoo. The outdoor shower is a nice touch. I am installing one at home thanks to my stay. Would stay here again.

Beautiful Mountain View!

What an awesome property! We loved the view, hot tub, fire pit & soaker tubs! If you’re looking for a remote getaway that is still easy to visit nearby towns, this is a perfect place to stay. We loved our day trips to Franklin, Sylva, Highlands, and Cashiers.

Wonderful Anniversary Trip

We decided to book a last minute Anniversary trip and stumbled across this listing. We couldn't tell much about the interior from the photos that were on line at the time, but we booked any way because the amenities intrigued us. The trek up the mountain to the cabin can be intimidating or thrilling - you decide! Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised! The interior is way more beautiful than imagined- stunning tongue and groove wood work in the main room and vaulted ceiling, a cozy fireplace, and a well equipped kitchen, and breathtaking views! There is a cute loft bedroom on the top floor with a full private bath, and another room with a hall bath on the main floor. Downstairs on the lower floor, a half bath only, but if its warm enough, you can utilize the outside shower. The primary bedroom on this floor has a king bed with a comfy mattress and pillows, and there is also a twin bed if you have littles (we used the twin bed to put our open suitcases on) The hot tub was amazing and we spent every single night watching shooting stars. Had a great photo op with the soaking tubs, too! We saw bears, tons of deer and even turkeys, which added to the enjoyment. The views from the main deck are absolutely breathtaking and change every hour. Book it! You won't be sorry

Amenities were our favorite!

The stay at this cabin was such a unique experience for us! The serenity in the mountains from an outside tub bubblebath perspective was so nice and relaxing! The night skies were unbelievable! The house itself was a lot for two people but we loved it! The lower level has the feel of a lodge stay and the upper two floors were cozy like a cabin. We absolutely loved this experience especially using the outdoor amenities! Definitely recommend! We got up to the cabin in a 2019 Toyota Camry but I wouldn’t attempt at night for the first time traveling to the cabin! The cabin owners were beyond generous having everything you need throughout the house, kitchen included!

On top of old Smokey.

We enjoyed everything about our stay and we definitely would come back. Be sure you write down accurate instructions or screenshot them or save the owners instructions on how to get to the house. You’ll loose signal and it’s hard to navigate your way to the home. With that being said that’s also part of the fun. You are the third house from the top of the mountain and it’s spectacular. We had a great family trip! As far as some of the other Wi-Fi comments we had enough to stream the Tampa Bay Lightning game six from my MacBook no problems there. Great location. Very close to highlands and cashiers amd other locations.

This property exemplifies the unique and rich biological diversity of the Southern Appalachian Mountains. Just east of the cabin in a hollow is a pure stand of yellow poplar trees, thus the name 'Poplar Cove'. A path to the west of the cabin wanders through a rhododendron to more surprise views. Early morning brings turkeys, grazing deer, and song birds. Its naturalist's delight!
