Upon arrival around 9:00pm we found the heater to not be working. We contacted the host who responded that maintenance would call me. After some time (maybe 20 minutes or more) I still had not gotten a call so I responded with a question if maintenance was going to be calling me or coming to the house. I did not get a response for several minutes. We were traveling with young children who we put to bed. I did not want the children disturbed when maintenance arrived at the house. The host took this to mean I did not want them coming that night. I just wanted to coordinate them coming so they would not wake the children. I did not get a timely response so I went to bed. Hoping that under the covers the children would stay warm. We were traveling with a 1 year old and they often can't keep covered while they sleep. The host sent a message sometime in the night that maintenance would come by at 1:00pm the next day. Kyle the maintenance guy said he was the one who I was communicating with during the night. I found that odd since the host was "Heather" who is a female and not Myles. Myles could not get the heat to work so he bought 3 space heaters to help heat the house. The space heaters popped the circuit breakers several times and we discovered that it would only allow us to plug in space heaters in certain outlets. I appreciate the host attempted to solve the problem but our overall experience was not comfortable and was stressful.
