Oui, cette maison se trouve sur 4. 5 acres à droite sur Homer Pond! À quelques mètres du Camden Snow Bowl et à 3 ou 4 miles de la ville! La vue est incroyable. Asseyez-vous sur la terrasse et contemplez l'étang et les montagnes. Paisible et beau.
La maison est moderne et a été complètement rénovée en 2014. Décor contemporain - 3600 pieds carrés, 4 chambres 2. 5 salles de bain. Deux espaces de vie séparés. Idéal pour 2 familles en famille avec enfants. La grotte de l'homme est livrée avec 2 écrans plats de 65 pouces afin que vous puissiez regarder deux matchs à la fois. Une cheminée incroyable est tout ce qui reste du chalet original de 100 ans.

The house is even more beautiful than the pictures. We had a great stay and are looking forward to coming back next year. The views are beautiful, there is a fully stocked kitchen, and ample indoor and outdoor space.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful location. The house was spacious and very well appointed. The view of the mountains and the surrounding area was great. We enjoyed the pond for both swimming and kayaking. We were close to the restaurants and shops in both Camden and Rockland. We highly recommend this location and would definitely stay here again.

We loved our week at this beautiful property. The house provided everything we needed and Hosmer Pond provided the rest. A loon family right off the deck; the parents teaching their baby to dive and fish, a stunning meteor shower, fabulous kayaking and the perfect spot to gather around the fire pit. We couldn’t have asked for anything more!

Heaven on Hosmer pond

Beautiful, spacious well appointed cabin on small pond and easy access from yard. Island to swim around, Camden and restaurants nearby. Just relaxing Good grill and kitchen Lucky to rent it two years in a row for family

Great stay!

Was a great visit!! House was very clean and welcoming. The location is great!! It was also very nice in that they had kayaks that we could use. Could not thank George enough for a wonderful trip and sharing his house with us. Location is right on the pond and also is close to Camden.

Quiet, cozy

We six adults lived our stay. The house is clean, well stocked (and with quality amenities, particularly important in the kitchen!), and roomy. The pond is peaceful with fun activities. Perfect stay.

Summer vacation

The house made our summer vacation special as being on the water with the views, kayaking and even swimming was great! The town of Camden was terrific with good restaurants and great hiking nearby at the state park- I highly recommend it!

Ice Lake and cozy but spacious house

Our state was fantastic. There was plenty of space. We were very impressed by the property with a well-stocked kitchen and tools to cook and grill very clean rooms. Great bathrooms.

spectacular winter setting

we were overjoyed to stay here for the second time, and even enjoyed our stay more than the first. The host made it very easy for us to check in. House had everything we needed to enjoy a long weekend during the toboggan national championship. Lakeside views were breathtaking and the proximity to the campus snowbowl, just a short walk.

We returned to this property this year after spending a week last year. The house is very updated with a great kitchen, plenty of space, and a great view of the pond. It's so nice to have access to the kayaks and canoes. Thanks for a great time!

Place was great

1st host has great communication and stocks the house and kitchen incredibly well. Very clean. Loved sitting on the deck through the evening watching water loons kayakers. Very peaceful and surprisingly no mosquitoes our stay the last week of July. 4 generations of family had room to spread out , relax, and enjoy. Family would stay there again if we make it back to Maine.

Maine getaway

Nice pond/waterfront location. Enjoyed the sitting area and deck area next to the water. Adequate comfortable seating for lounging. Kayaks were awesome. Two young loons with their parents right outside our door! Had a couple of rainy days and the place was great having two large separate sitting areas on the first floor. Nice hiking trails nearby. Had a question for the owner while we were there and received a prompt reply. Check in and out was easy with clear directions.

Wonderful family getaway

George has a fantastic place for a family to stay and getaway from it all. You could not be closer to the water. The setting is so relaxing. You can hear the loons, we saw deer, lots of other wildlife. The guys caught fish in the pond. We had great dinners in town and explored Rockland, Rockport and beyond. Lots of room for family (2 adults and 2 kids) plus two grandparents to spread out and everyone to have their own space. Everything you need and then some. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us. We even brought our dog!!

Come for the adventures, stay for the view

An absolutely wonderful place. Tucked away nicely, but still very close to everything - shopping, hiking, lobsters (Rockport Lobster), eating, all of what mid-coast has to offer. But the view in the mornings and the evenings is unbeatable! We often found ourselves sitting out back instead of getting ready for the day's events. The pix don't even begin to show how beautiful it is. Tia was great - extremely responsive. The house is great - very clean and organized. Without a doubt we will definitely try to return.

The house itself was spacious and clean. We were surprised to note that there is an additional rental cottage with which we shared the yard. The yard was not usable, in any event, because of the geese excrement all over. The kayaks, canoe and inflatables were welcome because there is no beach for swimming.

I am glad you enjoyed the home at Hosmer pond. The yard is not shared with the adjacent cottage, simply the walk-in access area to the pond. I'm glad you took advantage of the water toys with easy access to the pond, along with the large patio and deck at the pond edge. The natural setting and wildlife are a wonderful part of this rental.

Comfortable and Right on the Water

June 30 - July 7 2018 This property is located right on Hosmer pond. The pictures do not do it justice in that the living room looks out over the water like you are on a boat. The house is very comfortable and well stocked except for spices - since this is a new rental the house has not had time to accumulate leftover spices so make sure to bring your own if you plan to cook. Also, we stayed during a very warm week and the house has only 2 window AC units - but there was usually a breeze off the pond and there are window fans which moved the air. We caught fish in the pond (bass/perch/blue gill) in case you are wondering. The water is clear and clean for swimming. There are shops and restaurants close by - easy to run out for a meal or to buy groceries. All in all a great house and location.

Great getaway

Beautiful house on a peaceful pond. We enjoyed relaxing on the deck watching the sun rise over the mountains, and then viewing the bright stars at night. Would highly recommend!

A Lovely Lake

Our favorite time here was each night when we would build a fire in the fireplace, sip a glass of wine and gaze at the water before the sun went down. This house was very quiet and comfortable with good beds. The kitchen was well-stocked and easy to cook in. The Hannaford’s Grocery was nearby and also an organic vegetable stand with the best tomatoes. One afternoon we came home to find two deer in the front yard enjoying the apples from the trees. We drove right by them and they never flinched, just kept eating. I do hope we get to come back!

Early August stay

The property is amazing offering both waterfront and mountain views. We saw loons, beavers, deer, and even fish jumping in the morning. It's a great quiet location and it's only 10 minutes from downtown Camden.

Lovely and calm on a Maine pond

This is a lovely and spacious house located directly on Hosmer Pond. Listen to the loons at night and take a quiet canoe or kayak around the lake. Very peaceful and relaxing and yet near all of the beautiful sights and sounds of Camden. Camden offers great dining, lovely in-town shops and so much more. Plenty of room for six adults to stay comfortably.
