Points faibles : Communication, exactitude de lâannonce
There is no oven in the kitchen. Only a microwave. The listing is not accurate. Impossible to cook our Thanksgiving dinner unfortunately. No duvet for the pull out bed.Other than that the property is nice and the pool is great. Its facing another part of the house but it seems people were not there in the other house.
We enjoyed this Central Coast home even more than we'd originally imagined! The backyard and pool area is truly a retreat; the pool was perfectly warm, the jacuzzi heats up very fast, and the outdoor dining table was a treat on a lovely fall evening. Our favorite part of the home was the cozy common space with comfortable couches, a gorgeous view, and an open kitchen so the cook (aka ME) doesn't feel left out. Walls are a little thin, so bring headphones or ear plugs if you're a light sleeper or plan to work remotely. Location was perfect, just up the hill from the James Way Trail. Thank you so much for a lovely and comfortable stay!
This place was amazing and we didn't want to leave!! The house is beautiful, clean, and spacious. I would love to stay here again. The beach was close by and lots of good places to eat. Even though it's a shared property, with the pool between the main house and guest house we felt very comfortable and didn't even know if anyone else was around. Check in and check out instructions provided my Whitney were clear and easy. Thank you for everything!
Gathering to bring 4 generations together in near by Santa Maria. Property is well appointed, spacious, clean and comfortable. The pool and hot tub are a special added bonus. Great location.
Overall property is great. Hot tub was fun and landscape cool. The only negative was that there were not enough towels! There were 4 adults and one baby- we stayed two nights for a wedding and had to get ready both nights
Luckily my husband always packs a towel âjust in caseâ well- he needed it! None of us had enough towels! At this price point you should have 2 towels per person per day and or have a washer and dryer for use! Esp with the pool only 4 pool towels were provided for 5 humans two days!
Our stay could not have been better! Our family trip included two older teens and twin 10 year olds. This place was perfect to relax and connect with the kids. Not a single complaint was had from the teens or the twins, as a matter of fact, they have already started planning a return visit! The pictures do not do the pool or yard justice, itâs more beautiful in person! We enjoyed family meals on the patio and trips into Pismo Beach and Downtown SLO. The home is situated in such a way that the teens each had their own rooms and privacy when they needed some quiet space away from the younger boys. My room was beautiful and provided some quiet time for me too! It was large enough to put an air mattress in for the twins until they were comfortable enough to sleep on the pull out couch - which they rated five stars. All beds were extra cozy. Our small dog absolutely loved the yard. Bring a camera, lots of places to take photos in the immaculate yard! The hosts home is on property, but we were given absolute privacy. The communication was excellent as well. We definitely hope to return!!
We had an amazing trip, great location close to pismo and restaurants but up out of the beach fog and wind. Pool was great as well. Only issue was I thought there was an oven in the kitchen but there was an awesome bbq so we just pivoted. Would definitely come back again!
We enjoyed our trip and our stay at this house was great. The house has plenty of space, the kitchen is fully stocked and has all you need. The overall space was just amazing! The Yard was of course my favorite! (I love outdoor spaces). I loved the privacy we felt even though the main house is just beside the guest house. We had the property to ourselves and really enjoyed the pool and hot tub! For those who are thinking about booking here DO IT!! Oh and bring a camera! I took some really pretty portraits of my family while we were here in the yard the landscaping is a beautiful natural backdrop! Will definitely book again!
We had a wonderful stay with our dog and two boys. We made great use of the hot tub and heated pool. The auto cover is great for safety and peace of mind. Our dog enjoyed the large yard. It is fenced, however, it is open to the driveway area without a gate, so we kept our dog leashed/tied when we couldnât have eyes directly on her. Take note there is no oven, but the microwave can be used as an oven. No washer/dryer, but who wants to do laundry on vacation? Location was great, and communication with the host was great. We would definitely stay here again!
I grew up in San Luis Obispo and every day I'm thankful to call it home. I enjoy going to concerts, wine tasting, and running with my dog Ellie. I am thrilled to be a host and provide an opportunity for guests to make memories and enjoy a quiet retreat. I love sharing my wonderful town & hope you fall in love with it too!
I grew up in this neighborhood. It is minutes from the heart of Downtown San Luis Obispo, but you feel like you've escaped into your own oasis. Quiet day/night except for the occasional owl. Sometimes deer wander by. Often when it is cold and foggy at the beach, the sun is shining here, and it is a perfect mid-70 degrees almost every day. I love the hiking and running in the area, and everyone is so friendly! The village of Arroyo Grande is a cute little spot to shop locally. A rural feel but is close to shopping, great dining, wineries, lakes, and beaches.
The house has a pool that is exclusive to guests. It has a giant yard (great for kids and pets to run around and for everyone to enjoy the sunshine) and a big driveway for larger vehicles/trailers. It is a beautiful, thoughtfully decorated 3 bedroom located on acreage in a quiet, upscale neighborhood. Guests enjoy exclusive use of all amenities. The kitchen is thoughtfully stocked and equipped for full meal prep. The property is perfect for families to spend time together and create memories, for couples looking for a weekend away, for reunions, and really any reason to get away from the day-to-day.
