Robin des Bois sur la rivière avec des vues spectaculaires, près des vignobles et des plages côtières

Robin's Hood est une maison confortable et moderne située au bord de la rivière avec des plafonds mansardés et un plan d'étage ouvert. Depuis le salon, on peut regarder par les baies vitrées et voir la canopée des arbres sur la rive du fleuve. Des hérons bleus, des merles, des pics et une multitude d'oiseaux viennent visiter la plage privée ou la mangeoire sur le pont. Les kayaks sont disponibles pour une utilisation pendant l'été.

La maison dispose de deux grandes chambres avec lits queen, surmatelas, dans chaque chambre. Les deux chambres ont une terrasse privée. Il y a une petite pièce avant avec des baies vitrées et une vue sur la rivière qui comprend un lit gigogne pour deux pour dormir confortablement. Le salon donne sur le pont et offre une vue sur les arbres environnants. Il y a des lucarnes dans toute la maison. La vue depuis le pont est sur la rivière et les arbres. Il n'y a pas de maisons de l'autre côté de la rivière et c'est un endroit très privé.

Pour le chef gastronomique, la cuisine est fournie avec tous les outils dont vous aurez besoin et une gamme d'épices dans les armoires. La salle à manger peut accueillir 6 personnes confortablement à l'intérieur et 8 plus à l'extérieur.

Il y a des jeux de société, des livres, des DVC et d'autres jeux fournis pour occuper votre temps. Chaises de plage, flotteurs, etc. sont tous disponibles pour votre usage dans le garage ou le bac de rangement sur le pont.

La maison est à 3 km de Guerneville et à 20 minutes de Jennar. Il y a un certain nombre de vignobles à proximité et de grandes promenades sur les plages de la côte de Sonoma ou à Amstrong Woods.

I can’t say enough good things about this property, it’s a magical river retreat. The home feels comfortable, accessible and welcoming. Its location is unbeatable, as the accessibility to the river, the redwoods, and town would be hard to beat. We’ll be back!

Great wine and golf getaway

Oh my goodness! Just the best little house on the river and a stone’s throw away from Northwood Golf Course, one of our favorite courses. Rheka’s home is beautiful, clean, completely stocked with all you need for a ver comfortable stay! We will definitely be back for more. We highly recommend!

Amazing River Retreat!

Memorial weekend, on the river, with family is this beautiful home was amazing! Great location on the golf course with private river access, perfect for a family holiday weekend.The house itself was beautiful, very well thought out, definitely a river retreat feel. The host thought of everything from bedding, towels, toiletries, cookware, extra plates spices and even games to play! This was the best equipped VRBO I’ve ever stayed in and I’ve stayed all over the country.The host was very kind and accommodating. Very flexible about our check in and check out times and I can’t tell you how much we appreciated that.5 out of 5 Stars, can’t wait to go back for another trip!

Well needed birthday oasis/getaway

We absolutely loved everything about your home. Location was perfect. Close to downtown Guerneville and everything else. But we were mesmerized by being steps to the river. We became obsessed with kayaking up and down the river several times a day. It was exactly what we needed — time away from the hustle and bustle of San Francisco. And your kitchen was wonderful! So well stocked with spices and gadgets! We cooked a lot and had meals on the deck. Magical! Thank you so much.

A lil peace of paradise!

This property is awesome with all the amenities of home. Grandchildren loved it-couldn’t get them out of the water(in kayaks) or the dock(fishing)! Neighbors are friendly and felt safe. Can’t wait for our next adventure.

Family vacation

The property was perfect for a family wanting to spend time together. It is near beautiful beaches. We went to Goat Rock beach 4 evenings to watch the sun set. It was empty and way more beautiful than puctures present. Napa Valley was a huge hit. Armstrong park nearby is great for Redwoods.

House on the River

This house was perfect. The patio overlooked the river and provided amazing views. The kitchen was stocked well which made traveling from out of state easier (no need to buy spices/seasoning to cook). The bedrooms were spacious and the beds, comfortable. This was a great getaway!

Re-Treat Yourself to this traditional cabin on the Russian river

We went with some friends for a retreat style weekend and the house was a great spot. The place has a traditional cabin feel and had plenty of amenities that you would expect from a vacation rental. They had plenty of equipment canoes kayaks to use.

A place to relax...

Quiet spot w every convenience

Our family had a wonderful stay at Robin’s Hood, our second stay. The setting is gorgeous, right on the river with a big deck, kayaks and canoe. The house is roomy and very pleasant, everything you need, even beach towels. The kitchen is well stocked w spices and solid quality cooking pans, not the flimsy stuff one sometimes finds at rentals. We enjoyed our walks around the golf course to morning coffee and pastries.

Beautiful view

We loved this house. Great communication, easy access. Quiet area. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped. The kayaks are great quality. We spent a lot of time on the beautiful spacious deck with the French doors open, enjoying the view. I would caution that the path down to the dock and the river is steep. We would definitely come again.

Thanksgiving 2024

Enjoyed the peace and quiet of Robinshood rental. Was able to sew and finish a few Christmas gifts! My husband and family were over on Saturday to celebrate our Thanksgiving. Preparing the dinner was a breeze as Robinshood had ALL the amenities of home. Rehka was wonderful in responding quickly to my questions. Look forward to our next visit.

The house is really cozy and has all of the amenities (chairs, kayaks, life vests, board games, etc)

We saw deer, a weasel, an owl and a ton of beautiful birds like the blue heron and stellar jay. In the river we caught several fish and saw a large SEAL that must have lost his way from the ocean! The house is very cozy. Loved all of the amenities and also how well stocked the kitchen was. It was so nice to relax by the river every day, explore in the kayaks, swim and to be able to take day trips to Jenner beach. Great restaurants nearby and close to Safeway. Really enjoyed our stay!

Robin's Hood is a lovely spot, we definitely enjoyed our stay. Great location right on the river and 5 minute walk to the beautiful Northwood Golf Club...our group played 4 rounds during our stay! House was very clean and organized. You can tell owner is a great chef, as kitchen is fully equipped. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were clean. We definitely made use of the multiple kayaks (4 singles, 1 double) and canoe—really great (and rare) to have so many available to use. So wonderful to see river otters swimming nearby and scurrying along the shoreline. One issue was that the dock is at a fixed height (not floating) and this year the water level was well below the dock level so getting in and out of the kayaks at water's edge was somewhat problematic.One other issue...while the skylights throughout the house let in natural light during the day, the skylights in the bedrooms get very bright, very early in the morning. Definitely bring an eye mask if this might bother you.Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely stay here again!

Nice house, great location on the river, very quiet.

We had an excellent stay at the Robin’s Hood. It’s very private, and we loved the path that leads to the river. The house comes with kayaks that we took on the river for small trips. We saw deer every day, and lots of birds on the river. It’s very nice and quiet. The house itself is supplied with everything you need. The kitchen has all the pots and pans you need to cook. We loved the big tub in the master bathroom. The beds have very nice sheets, and we slept very comfortably there. Overall, an excellent choice.

I decided to purchase the house in 2007 as a place to getaway from my busy urban life. I love Robin's Hood and the surrounding area as do my friends who come to visit. The most frequent comments from friends are about how much they love the house, views and the activities while we are up there. The golf course is adjacent to the house, an extra amenity for those who golf.

My most amazing experience at Robin's Hood was seeing a family of six river otters swimming at the beach, stop and play on the riverbank.

I hope that if you rent the house that you have a wonderful time.

Northwood, the area of Monte Rio the home is located in, is a really special area, there are no communities like it along the river. The house is in a rustic area but updated and modern with charming details.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Very quiet and peaceful. Great for kids also as they can hang out at the beach all day, play games on the deck. There are beaches nearby with tide pools or take a kayak ride from the private beach down the river. There is a picture on this site of the deer sighting that we had on one of our kayak rides and of the star fish we spotted at the beach.
