Welcome To Big Bama Beach House! A Great Getaway.

Big Bama Beach House is a spacious getaway in West Beach, Gulf Shores, perfect for families. Nestled in a quiet cul-de-sac on Little Lagoon, it features a pool, fishing pier, and covered dock for stunning sunsets. With over 3,000 sq. ft., this 5-bedroom home sleeps 14 and includes two Primary Suites, a family suite, and a fun crow’s nest for kids. Enjoy modern updates, a stocked kitchen, BBQ grill, and top-notch amenities. Relax, unwind, and make unforgettable beachside memories!

This 5-bedroom house is situated in a family-friendly area of West Beach, Gulf Shores. It’s the best of both worlds—close to great restaurants and activities but far from the hustle and bustle. Our cozy cul-de-sac on Little Lagoon has just 11 homes, a pool, and a fishing pier. The covered pier is perfect for watching sunsets and spotting wildlife.

With over 3,000 square feet across three floors, there’s room for everyone to spread out. The house is equipped with large flat-screen TVs (note: TVs are streaming only, no cable), free Wi-Fi, a PlayStation 4 in the family suite, and a kitchen stocked with everything you need to prepare meals. Fire up the charcoal grill for a backyard BBQ and make the most of your stay.

Big Bama has five bedrooms and sleeps up to 14 guests. Two dreamy Primary Suites—one on the main floor and one upstairs—each have a king bed, private bath, deck, and TV. The main floor suite even features a spa-like bathroom with an oversized shower, a freestanding tub, and gorgeous tile work.

Upstairs, there’s another Primary Suite with a king bed and private bath, a family suite with a king bed and two twin beds, and a spacious bedroom with a king bed. The third floor is a fun crow’s nest with two twin beds—perfect for teens or kids looking for their own hangout space.

Whether you’re lounging by the pool, casting a line off the pier, or catching a sunset from the covered dock, Big Bama Beach House is all about relaxing, unwinding, and making memories. It’s everything you need for an unforgettable family vacation—pack your flip-flops and good vibes!

Perfect house in the perfect spot

We were in town for the softball word series. We stayed with a few other families. There is plenty of room, the house was clean and perfect for multiple families. It’s in a perfect spot with a shared pool and spot to fish in the lagoon. Just far enough away from the main road but not too far for restaurants and stores. We hope to come back and stay here next year.

Great family vacation

Great house! Lots of room to spread out and very comfortable. We had multiple families staying over the Thanksgiving weekend and had everything we needed. It's just a short walk to the beach and close to all the restaurants and shops. Perfect location.

Beautiful Home

Beautiful house! Very roomy and comfortable. Loved sitting on the upper deck drinking our coffee in the mornings. A short walk to the beach, will equipped kitchen, comfortable beds. What more could you ask for?

We loved the Big Bama Beach House

Awesome house! The kitchen was great. Was fully stocked with everything you could ever want. Probably the best stocked kitchen of any rental we’ve ever stayed in. It has a Keurig that has both a pot and k cup option, tons of containers for storing leftovers, plenty of mixing bowls, pots, pans etc. All of the bedrooms were a great size, plenty of bathrooms, too. We had a large crew and everyone was very comfortable. They even had a beach wagon we could use for travel to the beach. Would for sure stay here again.

Fun family vacation!

The house was nice, very comfortable beds and a great location. It was close to the beach and a very short walk to the pool. We loved the fishing pier. One thing we would suggest is a few umbrellas at the pool. There is little to no shade most of the day.Also, a table on the deck of the house out the front would be nice, or at least a few small tables in between the chairs. We enjoyed our week there.

Great Place, Great Location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. A great location on a quiet street and very easy access to the beach. The pool and pier that were in the neighborhood were great for the kids and within just a few feet of the house. Would definitely book again. Some simple toiletries and kitchen necessities will need to be purchased. It would be nice to know going into the trip some of the things that we would need to provide but overall a great week in Gulf Shores!

Big Bama

We loved spending a week at the Big Bama house. We had ten people with us - 3 young children and 7 adults. We had plenty of space to gather as a family and to spread out for time apart. The location to the beach was perfect. It was a short walk along a quiet side street to direct public beach access. It was also close to some walking paths to enjoy. We loved our stay at the Big Bama and would definitely come back to stay in Gulf Shores!

Great Gulf Shores Getaway!

This location has plenty to offer with quick access to Gulf Shores, Orange Beach and much to do in the area. The house has plenty of space and is just a short walk to the beach. Come prepared to stock the house with basic amenities like toiletries, coffee & filters, paper towels, additional dish soap, trash bags and cleaning supplies. The twin beds aren’t terribly comfortable but work well for younger kids/adults. The fifth bedroom with two twin beds only is located in a smaller 3rd floor loft. It’s functional but not as ideal as the other rooms. The owners were responsive and help leading up to and during the trip. They were accommodating to our requests and very friendly!

Delightful Stay away from home

This property is wonderful! I really enjoyed the spacious bedrooms and well stocked kitchen and all of the necessary utensils to cook with. The outdoor living area was a nice set for entertainment but did not get to enjoy it as much, but we did get to enjoy the balcony off the main living area! The property is also located in a great spot for access to the beach. I hope to stay again in the near feature, book this property you will not be disappointed; at me and my family was not đŸ€—

I would give it a 10 if I could!! Awesome house!

Our kids and grandkids stayed here. The house is very well stocked. Furniture is very comfortable. We had an engagement at the pier at sunset!! Everything was perfect!

A little bit of everything

The location is 2 blocks from the beach and there is a community pool just a short walk away. The house was great for 4 different families and the kitchen was well stocked. We would definitely stay here again!

Great Place to Stay!!!

This house was perfect for 4 travel baseball families. We had 13 people total and this house had more than enough room for us all. Beautiful house; short walk to the beach entrance; pier to fish from and a community swimming pool. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed for the week. Starter of soaps, trashbags and toiletries. We had a great time and have no complaints. The owner was super nice and would respond promptly.

The big Bama house was beautiful! The lay out of the home gives you plenty of room with a large family! The location is perfect! You can walk to the ocean without feeling overwhelmed! Absolutely would come back!

Nice Home, Nice Size

Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Bama House. The owner responded very quickly to messages- from the time I booked the house to the time we arrived. The size of the house was perfect for 11 of us. I gave 4 stars for cleanliness because there was hair in the shower. It looked like they cleaned but rushed and just missed some spots. I have 4 stars for location and neighborhood because there are other houses on every side of you so every view was looking at another house. But the house wasn’t far from the beach access. Bring extra toilet paper, paper towels, and garbage bags. Again, we enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic House for Families/Big Groups

This house had it all! We were a group of 13 ranging from 4 to 62 & hailing from two different states. The house was plenty big (main bedroom with a king bed on the main floor, 3 large bedrooms on the second floor and a super cool bonus room on the top floor that our angsty teens loved) & updated with a great kitchen (even has a kitchen aid for those who like to bake which we made use of nightly) along with fantastic porches on the main and second floor. The walk to the beach is a short one, maybe 2 or 3 minutes. It's down the strip some so the beach isn't croweded at all. After a couple of beach days we welcomed a change of pace at the community pool along with the dock/bay area that had a small beach. Pro tip : Bring some crab traps to catch your own dinner on the doc! I would highly recommend this house as it allowed our family to enjoy a wonderful week together.

Great family trip

We loved the fact that this house had 2 master bedrooms with their own bathrooms. We all had plenty of room to spread out. The king beds were all very comfortable. The twin beds were not, but were ok for kids. Loved the fancy washer and dryer. Very nice on the 2nd floor with most of the bedrooms. House was very clean and nicely decorated. We enjoyed the deck off of the living room and would hang out on the chairs drinking coffee in the morning. The other decks we didn’t use because there is no seating on them. But there are decks off of every bedroom. The pool is a super short walk. Small pool with no shade so be prepared. The guys in our group spent a lot of time on the fishing pier. Very nice spot with comfortable seating to hang out and it is shaded. The beach is definitely walking distance, about 5 minutes, but for us older people, it was definitely hard with the heat and carrying all the stuff to and from the house. FYI, a wagon sounds like a good idea but it does not pull well on the sand. Trust us!đŸ€Ł
