Perfect spot in Menlo Park

Stay in Menlo Park

Pros: easy check in, quite clean, and quiet. Ample and quality supplies were available in the house.Cons: communication was initially great and very responsive. however, when I reached out about a broken stove knob I got “check out YouTube” and “what do you want me to do, it’s 10pm…”. I was simply communicating one of the knobs was broken and I couldn’t turn of that one stove… this conversation made me very uncomfortable. The manager did come the next day and replaced the knob.Mis: laundry is not in-unit but in a shared facility and one of the two washers was broken.

Comfortable and convenient

We needed a base while our son was moving into an apartment, and Helen’s rental was perfect for us. It was conveniently located, and it gave us a chance to unwind and have some space at the end of each day. The parking and laundry were definitely appreciated. Helen was quick to respond to any questions we had. Many thanks!

Perfect Apartment in the Heart of Silicon Valley

I spent two months in this apartment and just loved it, it had everything I needed and was the perfect location. It's very close to the walking bridge to Palo Alto, the Stanford Shopping Mall, Stanford University, and San Francisco is an easy 45 min drive away. You can hit the ground running in this apartment because the owner supplies it with plenty of detergents, soaps, shampoos, etc., and even some food. The owner is also very responsive and helpful. I loved living here and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Great Location - Affordable

We were looking for an affordable option since we needed to be out of our own home for 10 days. This upstairs downstairs unit was a great solution. The location is central to everything in the North Silicon Valley. There are 8 units in close proximity so there is some cross noise but everyone was respectful of each other. The host is very responsive. We appreciated that the host and previous guests have left things like spices and cleaning supplies and there are plenty of utensils for cooking.

We had to clean thebplace, vacuum and wash countertops and table. Bathroom and fridge needed a cleaning as well. Stay was nice, we enjoyed the place, needs cleaner and more pots and pan.

A peaceful place!!

The place is really good. The house is clean, calm. Everything what I need is there. The parking place is good. I want to stay this place again. It takes15 min for caltrain station to walk.

Clean House, Quiet stay

Wir haben die Wohnung sehr genossen. Das Management war eher professionell nicht sehr persönlich. Es gab einige organisatorische Schwierigkeiten am Anfang, die schnell gelöst wurden. Man kann von Waverley Street viele Locations in Palo Alto schnell und zu Fuß erreichen. Wir waren froh, dass das Auto geparkt werden konnte. Wir hätten etwas mehr Küchen-Equipment gebrauchen können, damit am nicht laufen spülen oder die Spülmaschine Laufen lassen muss. Weingläser, Besteck, kleine und große Schüsseln. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber, Handtücher Bettwäsche alles Prima. Bad ist recht klein aber zu zweit kein Problem. Wir würden wiederkommen.

A nice place, very clean but a bit noisy with neighbors and kids next door. We didn't expect stairs.

It wasn't exactly a vacation. I am getting treatment for cancer at Stanford and we needed a place close by. Helen was very good about responding to our questions and we appreciate that. All in all we enjoyed our stay here.
