We had a very peaceful stay, we were up in northern Vermont for my father’s funeral.We ended up staying for a few extra day, it was just so lovely and peaceful!We hope to stay again next summer.

Although it rained most of the week, we had an awesome time together as a family. We did puzzles and played Monopoly. The kids fished at the pier and caught two small mouth bass! In between rain, we took the pedal boat out for a spin around the lake and visited Montpelier and the Ben and Jerry factory in Burlington. It was a great family vacation!

Great single family property

We had a fabulous time staying in Hardwick, VT. The house we rented had just about everything we needed. Nice large yard for the kids to play in, good sized bedrooms, a full bathroom so the kids could also take a bath. The lake was incredibly clean and we were able to use the paddle boat that was at the dock. Honestly we want to come back and maybe even move up permanently eventually.

Lovely Location

A very relaxing get-away. Lake is quiet and perfect for swimming and kayaking. The house offered us the amenities and comfort we needed. Close to our favorite trails and shops in Craftsbury and Hardwick. A short drive to Highland Center for the Arts for Enchanted Mini Golf.

Perfect Getaway

I cannot express how picturesque and beautiful this property is, the pictures do not do it justice. The property has everything you need for an excellent escape from your everyday. The bed was so comfy and large and the house was filled with local artists. The location is close to the highways so it’s easy to get to where you need to go!

Peaceful Getaway

The only downfall is not being able to spend more time at the lake house. Both Anna and Abi were great communicators and attentive in hospitality and stay. The lake house was peaceful and relaxing. The lake was cold but didn't stop our girls to jump right in. The walk downhill was steep but manageable. We built a fire and was just fantastic weather and watching the family come together. Great stay.

This could be a gem but needs some changes

What is not clear from the property description is the bathroom situation. There is one full bath on the ground floor, with a tub that has been raised a foot high which makes getting in and out a problem. Then a tiny partial bath with toilet and sink is on the second floor in the master bedroom, so other people must come through the master bedroom. The place is pretty and could be great if these details are tended to. Also, despite putting in beautiful new windows, access the the loveliest part of the property, which is on the water, is not possible. There needs to be French doors and access to a deck on the water. All clean and comfortable otherwise.

Tranquility

If you are looking for a place to totally relax, this is it. It is nicely decorated and well maintained. The paddle boat, rowboat, and fire pit are definitely nice added features. The dock is brand new, and if you like to fish and swim you will be in your glory! Anna provides a very professionally done binder that shows places of interest and attractions in the area. I personally liked The Genny in Craftsbury for breakfast/lunch. I would highly recommend this place if you are in the market for relaxation!
