The Atlas House, a retreat in East Clairemont — a bright, mid-century coastal escape built for music lovers and beach days. Surf at sunrise, spin vinyl at sunset, and let the backyard firepit handle everything in between.
This three-bedroom, two-bath home is 7 miles from the coast and just 8 minutes from La Jolla & La Jolla Shores Beach, 15 minutes from Pacific Beach, Mission Bay, and most of San Diego proper, and 20 minutes from the airport, SeaWorld, the Zoo, Legoland, and downtown. East Clairemont sits right next to the Convoy District — one of San Diego`s best-kept food secrets, with over 200 restaurants spanning Korean, Japanese, Vietnamese, Chinese, and more.

Inside, the main living room is built around a cozy fireplace, premium sound system, and curated vinyl collection — the kind of room that makes you want to put on a record and stay a while. A second lounge offers space for movies, games, or remote work with fast Wi-Fi. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances, quality cookware, and a stash of Bird Rock Coffee.

The primary suite features a king bed, ensuite bath, and walk-in closet; the second bedroom offers a queen bed; and the third includes a full bed and futon for flexible sleeping.

Step outside to your private backyard oasis — fire up the grill, relax on the turf, or gather around the firepit as the sky glows pink over the hills. A wagon of beach essentials (chairs, umbrellas, towels) is included free of charge, and bikes and surfboards are available to rent for trips to the coast — just let us know your plans and we`ll help sort out gear and transport.
Guests have full private access to the entire home and backyard. The property is fully fenced for privacy; hosts live on-site but use their own separate entrance and stay out of your space throughout your stay.

Even in the city, the coast is never far — dolphins and sea lions just offshore, brown pelicans along the bluffs, and gray whales passing during migration season (December–April).
