Grits-Carlton was the perfect vacation spot for us! This home was even more impressive in person. Beautifully decorated and the beds were so comfortable with a well stocked kitchen. The very short walk to the beach was much shorter than expected and the beach was absolutely beautiful and not crowded. Great location!! We would definitely return and have already told our friends and family how much we enjoyed our time. Any questions we had about the property were answered quickly and thoroughly. We can’t wait to come back.

Perfect house, perfect location!

We enjoyed our stay at Grits Carlton! It was perfect for our two families and came equipped with all that we needed. Best of all, it was in a perfect location with easy access to the beautiful beaches! Highly recommend...we will be back!

The house was perfect for what we needed it for. The ocean was a perfect walk through the neighborhood away. Everything was very easy to get to from this location. Would stay again!

The property is beautiful and perfect for our two families. Being just steps to the beach was perfect for the kids Extremely close to dining and shopping for the adults. We will be back!

Beautifully decorated, rooms very spacious, beds were very hard and the pool was dirty and definitely not cleaned.

Perfect proximity to beach without the high rise resort

This property was perfect size for 2 families traveling together on a beach vacation. The close walk to the private beach in a secure location worked great for our pre-teen children to go back and forth to house. Overall would highly recommend this place and would come back again!

Second year to stay there. Beautiful house! Kitchen is well equipped. Check in and out was so easy. We even got in 2 hours early!! Love the private non crowded beach.

Perfect location and perfect home for our family with three master suites and two bunk rooms! A very short walk to the beach and a splash pool the kids loved! It was very clean with plenty of towels. Communication was good with Ocean Reef Rentals. Highly recommend The Grits Carlton!

We had a wonderful time during our stay at the Gritz-Carlton. The home was absolutely beautiful, warm, and inviting from the moment we arrived. It had everything we needed and more, making our stay comfortable and stress-free.The location was perfect, and the private beach was simply gorgeous. It was peaceful, well maintained, and the perfect place to relax and enjoy time with family.The accommodations were ideal for our large family group, with plenty of space for everyone to gather while still having privacy when needed. Everything was clean and well cared for, and it was clear that great attention had been given to every detail.A few things I'd recommend for future guests: bring a few extra beach towels if you have a large group, and consider bringing a beach tent or canopy if you plan to spend a lot of time on the beach, as the extra shade is nice to have.We were genuinely sad that we couldn't stay longer! Our time there went by far too quickly, and we hope to be back again soon. We truly enjoyed our stay and created wonderful memories together. We would absolutely recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious getaway.

This property is as described in the listing. The location is amazing and so close to many things. The private beach access and chair service was wonderful. You can walk down to the beach with minimal things. The pool is small as described but was perfect for my small grandchildren to play in when the beach was too much. The home was clean and very comfortable. The only thing I would like to let people know is the stairs are steep. We stayed here with 7 adults and 4 small children and had plenty of room to relax. The other thing I would let people know is that the washing machine will only hold small loads (4 towels max) or it will not balance and spin out. I would definitely recommend this location to others and I would stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at The Grits Carlton. The house was spacious, equipt with everything we needed and the location was convenient to walk to the beach without getting in a car or golf cart. We had access to the double garage for all of the beach items. There was plenty of parking for our full size suv and sedan. The views were beautiful. The premises was clean and tidy. The deck had a grill and plenty of seating. The small hot tub sized pool on the deck was perfect for our small children. The deck was fully fenced in, keeping our kids safe. Although this house didnt come with bikes or a golf cart, it did come with two complimentary chairs and one beach umbrella already set up each morning on the beach. The beach was amazing. It is a private beach so it wasnt crowded like the public beaches. We were able to put up our own canopy for extra shade without any issues. The host replied right away with any questions that we had. Thank you to The Grits Carlton for a memorable stay at Mirimar Florida! We had an amazing summer of 2026!

Great location beach not crowded.

Easy rental process. Nice house great layout. Easy beach access and no giant beach crowds during a VERY busy week. Great beach chair set up Sofa and chairs could use replacement but other than that house was very nice.
