The location is spectacular and the host provided many amenities that made the stay very comfortable! We had everything we needed for a great time at the beach!

Wonderful house in an idyllic spot! Could have happily never left property during our 4 day stay. And the hosts were lovely and generous about with accommodating us. They went above snd beyond what we expected.

EXCEEDED expectations! Magical setting, like a storybook. Back when the world was simple and time moved slowly. Check in was effortless, host was readily available, although we didn't have any issues. Highly recommended.

The Studio is a gem! A charming, historic building in an amazing setting, looked after by thoughtful, attentive hosts. What a place to stay during an early Fall Nor'easter! The setting could not have been more beautifully dramatic for enjoying wind and waves and our hosts made sure that we were safe and sound and cozy from beginning to end.Secluded, but close to everything Cape Ann has to offer.A slice of gorgeous Gloucester heaven.Thank you!

This is a piece of paradise! The cottage is rustic and quaint and has everything you need. But the real show stopper is the ocean right outside the window. We spent many hours on the mica beach catching crabs, and looking across the picturesque coastline.The hike to the outer island gave us breathtaking views of the rocky shore and fishing boats coming in at the end of the day.It’s really a magical spot.

This was a wonderful respite by the sea for my old friend and I (having both grown up by the Atlantic coast). In spite of the slightly damp weather we were very comfortable. The little space heaters were welcome and the fireplace was great. The cottage was well-appointed and the stocked cupboards and fridge were a very generous addition.Visitors with small children should be careful around the rocky shore, but Cape Ann offers many beautiful family-friendly beaches. Rockport and Gloucester are very lovely tourist towns with great restaurants and lots of activities. What we enjoyed the most was the privacy of the location right on the bay with beautiful views everywhere.

Restorative off-season visit to Cape Ann

We had a delightful stay. The cottage and grounds are perfect -- beautiful views, peaceful, private, cozy, simply but thoughtfully appointed ... Our intention had been to explore Cape Ann a bit, but The Studio and immediate area were so charming that we hardly wanted to venture farther than the few acres surrounding us. We greatly appreciate the host's generosity in sharing it with us.

Idyllic summer cottage

The Studio is our family's all time favorite beach cottage. We have stayed at this special property several times over many years, most recently with three generations of family. We love the peaceful beauty of the area, the property's two beaches and wonderful walks along scenic coast, and the comfortable charm of the historic cottage itself. The hosts (Bonnie Foz and her daughter Elizabeth) are warmly welcoming, readily available for questions and incredibly helpful, up to and including stopping by to make a useful small repair during our stay. Highly recommend this uniquely lovely place.

Stone house with history

Beautiful, quiet and peaceful spot on a 56 acre peninsula. Approx. 20 houses nestled away on the property, all owners being descendants of the original owner. Two small, private beaches are within walking distance. Beautiful sunsets. Delightful owners who were readily available to assist with any problem.

Stone Studio

Location gets 10 stars, house was nice but very hot due to the skylights that had no shades to block out sun but then again we sat outside watching the sun set each night. Bonnie and her daughter Elizabeth are FANTASTIC to deal with, we love the Gloucester/Rockport area and loved the location as it is central to both.

Charming cottage, beautiful beach and coastal views

We loved our stay at the cottage! We brought our kayaks and loved that we could launch right from the cottage and paddle the coves, harbor, and beaches! From the cottage you can see across to Castle Hill and Cranes beach, the views are amazing. Our teenagers loved the mica beach right at the cottage and the quick drive into Rockport for shopping. We also brought our bikes and rode to the Gloucester harbor as well as to gravel trails to many quarries. Bonnie and Elizabeth were such gracious and kind hosts. We are so thankful they shared their wonderful cottage with us. We plan to go back!

Thank you for our wonderful stay in your sweet cottage! Everything was perfect. We loved the close access to the private beaches and quiet walks. The smell of sea air and honeysuckle through our open window will be a lasting memory!The cottage was very cozy with every thing you could need at hand. The mattress and bedding in the main bedroom were very comfortable with plenty of extra blankets and pillows if needed. The kitchen had everything we neededincluding for a fun lobster boil one evening. Everything was even better than pictured. Thank you for a lovely visit!

Paradise!

Bonnie and her daughter couldn’t have been nicer. The house is wonderful and the views from almost every room are amazing. Very restful get away. Loved how you could practically swim right out the door. Can’t wait to come back.

Historic home on the water!

This home was paradise in a time warp. We were fortunate to experience the home, views, and water. Bonnie was readily available, and we are grateful to have enjoyed the week at the Gloucester Studio.

Ideal spot

This was one of the most beautiful and charming places we have ever stayed on Vrbo. The setting and private beaches are spectacular. Bonnie the host is lovely and helpful. Would love to come Back!
