My wife and 10-yr old son flew in from New Hampshire, and were joined by my 22-yr old son, who lives in Florida. The house was very nice, beds were comfortable, and the pool was nice and warm! Good location and easy access to plenty of things to do. We did have any issues during our 3-night stay and would recommend the place to others.

We enjoyed our stay very much and loved the pool and the outdoor area. Drinking coffee in the AM while soaking in the sun was great, while watching the little lizards run around! It was very welcome coming from WI and luckily avoiding 2 feet of snow during our stay! We visited Honeymoon Island Beach, Crystal River and Homosassa Springs State Park, Clearwater Beach and the Clearwater Aquarium, and Weeki Wachee Springs State Park to swim and watched the mermaid show. The week went by far too fast and wish we were still there! Thank you again for opening up your wonderful home for us to stay at!
The fishing poles were great, but no luck!

We usually stay a few days in Hudson for scallop season, and we bring a 23 foot boat. The location is great, being close to the boat ramp, and (for the first time) this neighborhood wasn't too much of an issue getting into at low tide. The property owner was easy to communicate with and responsive to questions/issues. The house is nice, functional, and looks to be recently redone (probably due to the hurricanes in 2024). Plenty of parking too (we had 3 vehicles and a trailer, and they all fit). The outside space is what really sells this property, in my opinion. Very few rentals in the area have both a dock AND pool. Additional bonus is, the pool is actually screened in... important in Florida, especially near water. We had 2 toddlers under 2 years old, so the screened porch, pool baby gate, and fence blocking the canal were all also appreciated. The tiki-like seating area and fire pit finish off the outdoor space (didn't use the fire pit because it's Florida in the middle of July). We also used the grill several times, and it was nice having a quality grill (Weber) at a rental for a change.

The house was cute but a few things were off. The beds were hard as rocks and not even usable in 1 room. The floors were dirty especially in the master bed room - hair and crap all over the floors. 2 of us ended up sick. Allergic to pet dander and mold so the house had 1 of those!!! Also the neighbor was not respectful - running the ATVs and loud cars after 11pm!
