The host was amazing, very communicative & flexible. Great place to stay in a convenient area, close to shopping & restaurants. The house was clean with enough space for our family of 4. Would definitely stay here again!
The cottage was very cute, clean and just right! The host of the property was very nice and we had great communication. They also own a great Cafe! âThe Village Cafeâ we also highly recommend!
This was our fifth/sixth stay at the property. We use it for a sisterhood retreat (ages 46-82, 4 ladies). It's in the perfect location being just down the street from the outlets, American Music Theater, Sight and Sound, and others. We appreciate the large space vs being spread out in a hotel.
My family and I (husband, me, 4 kids ages 6-13) had a wonderful time in Lancaster! This house was in the perfect location to go explore and do the different things we wanted. The house is cute and quaint. It was the perfect size for our family of 6. Two bedrooms upstairs and one bedroom downstairs. One bathroom. Spacious kitchen and dining area. We were able to relax in the evenings. It is close to the road so you do hear cars and Amish buggies go by in the evening. That was unexpected but didn't really bother us. The owners left yummy, fresh Amish bread and peanut butter for us when we arrived. It didn't last long! We would consider staying there again!
Love this little house! Perfect for resting & refreshing! Always nice & tidy! Sights & sounds of the horse & buggies going by is so enjoyable!Sits right in the middle of ou
Great location to Sight & Sound theater and lots to do in the area. Easy to communicate with Angie and she brought us yummy bread and peanut butter! The property could have been a bit cleaner (but felt comfortable in home and sleeping there), needs some small repairs, and there is some noise with being closer to the road. Overall we appreciated being 10 minutes from the theater, good communication/kind, and our kids enjoyed themselves.
My friends and I spent 3 nites at this cute little cottage. The location is terrific! Everything was spotless. The beds were very comfy, plenty of blankets nice pillows. We loved going back to the house after a hard day of shopping and playing. The cottage is on a main road so there was some traffic we enjoyed hearing and seeing the buggies go by. The traffic noise quiets down at night. The hosts were quick to respond to texts and we even got a delicious loaf of bread and some home made peanut butter. We would stay here again
This was a perfect place to stay for a long weekend of volleyball at Spooky Nook. We were able to relax after tiring days yet not be on top of each other. Everything was very clean and comfortable
This house was perfect for our trip. It was warm and had all the things we needed. The host was sweet, thoughtful, and very responsive. We'll definitely stay here again next time!
Wonderful place to stay! Wonderful hostess!
Close to restaurants & shopping while seeing beautiful scenery. Hostess goes above & beyond to make your stay comfortable & enjoyable! Hope to stay in this sweet little home many more vacations.
We met up with family for few nights here and had a wonderful stay. It was the perfect size for us and had everything we needed, including a toys and a high chair for our 1 year olds. The host did great at communicating and the bread and peanut butter were a treat! Giving this 4 out of 5 stars because the overall cleanliness of the place was decent, but could use a good thorough cleaning. We hope to return again for another stay in the future!
The house was what I expected. It wasn't plush and modern. But it was clean and comfortable. The road noise at night was loud but AC made it less noticeable.
There was a step going to the bathroom from the bedroom as well as from the kitchen to the refrigerator. My husband fell going to bathroom at night & I tripped. The sheets on the bed were not what I have found in many other airbnbs...they were outdated. The stairs were almost impossible to climb to the 2 bedrooms upstairs. They were not deep enough to get your entire foot on each step. There were 6 remotes by the tv & we never could figure out how to watch tv! New linens, and a smart tv would be two things that would make this place nicer but the steps & stairs would still be a safety concern for an older couple. We would not stay here again.
We have 5 beautiful children. My husband was born and raised Amish and has his own painting business. I was born and raised Mennonite and I enjoy being able to be a homemaker and homeschooling our 3 children( one is at a local high school ). We love our culture and the heritage we received from our parents even though we are not part of the plain church anymore. We both love Jesus with all our hearts and live to serve Him.
This is a small but cozy guest house. If you want a relaxing weekend or just a cute place to stay that is close to lots of main attractions, this is your place! Lots of previous guests call it their "Home away from home"
